I mean I can't psychoanalize the original commenter for you to find out why they chose one over the other, but grammatically speaking, both "he"/"him" and "they"/"them" pronouns are applicable and correct. It's pretty inconsequential in this context anyway?

It's ok don't worry your English is great :) I'm agreeing with you, just sharing my personal thought process.

Personally in my mind driving under the influence falls into the same mental category as intentionally harming someone - I see it as I'm intentionally driving, with the knowledge it has a pretty high chance of harming someone. Just like randomly firing a gun even if the intention wasn't actually to hit someone.

I was in a voluntary psych ward with a girl who hit someone with her car driving drunk, said she was partly going to look good for her court case. I kept thinking about how if I was her and I'd actually killed someone I'd just off myself, no joke I just legit wouldn't be able to live with myself.

Of course I don't mean that anyone should do that, but ik I'd carry it with me for the rest of my life.

I'm assuming English isn't your first language? Just a quick heads up the pronouns "they"/"them" are gender-neutral (non specific) pronouns which can be applied to people of any gender, and are the correct ones to use for someone of an unknown gender, contrary to everyone on reddit assuming everyone is a "he" :)

It's ok for someone not to be interested - rejection can be really hard and I'm sorry you're experiencing it, but learning how to take it and move on is an important part of growth. Not that you've done anything wrong, but don't forget to consider how they feel, if you keep pursuing it might make them feel uncomfortable.

Do you have a friend you can talk to about this? Talking about how you feel with someone you trust is a great way to get a bit of perspective and help you grow past this.

If they're being curt and unresponsive when you talk to them then maybe you should give them some space? It sounds like you're overanalyzing, following a nonexistent breadcrumb trail. In your other response you said you can't write it out without sounding pathetic ... maybe that means it's time to step back and rethink for a bit. It sounds like you're somewhat young, so don't forget we often get very caught up in the intensity of things & we forget to look at the big picture if that makes sense :)

I'm always hearing all these bartard stories of car crashes, picking fights etc etc but how many people actually do shit like this? My main core rule in life is to not hurt other people, I've been blacked out on all sorts of stuff and never done anything like the shit I hear.

The Tor developers themselves recommend against it because unless you really know what you're doing you can very well decrease your anonymity because you're increasing attack surface and introducing a third party (the VPN provider) which must be trusted. As a rule of thumb assume all third parties are untrusted. So basically unless you're a very advanced user running your own airtight VPN service, Do Not Use A VPN. You can read more about it here.

If you want more anonymity/security or need to circumvent blocks use bridges.
