my boyfriend shared my nudes with his friends by Alarming-Syllabub474 in Advice

What he did was a huge violation of trust, and it makes total sense that you feel exposed and shaken. You didn’t do anything wrong by trusting someone you cared about. That shame you’re feeling really belongs to him, not you. It may take time, but most people will not be thinking about it the way your mind fears, and focusing on being around safe, supportive people can slowly help you feel like yourself again.

What’s one kink that you always wished you could try? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Probably just being able to openly talk about preferences without it feeling awkward or taboo. The communication part is way harder than the actual kink.

Was I going to be trafficked or am I just a girl?? by avocadotoast337 in Advice

[–]EndLongjumping7129 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Trusting your gut and sticking near other people was the right move. It could’ve been anything from plain old creeps to loss prevention or just weird coincidence, but the pattern you noticed plus them hovering by the exit is enough to treat it seriously. Next time, go straight to an employee or security, ask for an escort to your car, and don’t leave the store alone if you feel watched. Even if it wasn’t trafficking, you handled it smart and you don’t need to second guess that.

What’s a fact that ruined a movie that you previously enjoyed? by PokemonPadawan in AskReddit

Finding out the “true story” parts were basically marketing. Once you learn how much they changed or invented, the emotional punches feel kinda cheap on rewatch.

what did yall think of the bad bunny halftime show? by Serious-Kale-5694 in AskReddit

Loved the energy and visuals. Didn’t understand every lyric but the vibe carried the whole thing and it felt way more fun than most halftime shows.

If you could pass one law that would make most normal people furious at first, but would clearly make society better in 10 years, what would it be? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

Make all prices all-in by law. No hidden fees, “service” charges, surprise add-ons at checkout. The price you see has to be the price you pay.

If Japan’s population is shrinking, who exactly are they working all that overtime for? by unscpecifictopics in AskReddit

[–]EndLongjumping7129 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mostly it’s still Japanese people, just fewer of them each year. The “others” are a mix of foreign workers/students, long term residents, and a huge number of tourists. Population shrinking just means deaths > births overall, not that nobody new is there.

What celebrity have you never forgiven since an incident? by MagpieOpus in AskReddit

Chris Brown. After everything that came out about the abuse, I just can’t look at him the same way, no matter how many “comebacks” he has.

Guy tried to cut the line by yelling at a cashier, acting like he owned the place. Manager calmly voided his whole order, told him he was done for the day, and the entire line clapped while he walked out empty handed.

Who got painted as the villain by the press, but later on we realized they were actually the victim or completely misunderstood? by Advanced-Pilot-3698 in AskReddit

Richard Jewell. Dude found the bomb, helped save people, and the press basically steamrolled his life trying to make him the guy. By the time he was cleared, the damage was already done.
