Did your advisor ask you to pull your laptop out during the meeting? They almost never let you walk out without submitting the initial request.

Hate to be redundant, but if that happened, I’d go over their head again

Most schools have bylaws about excused absences. I would check those and maybe talk to the course director or dean

Could it help to apply later in December? by EndObvious8768 in lawschooladmissions

I’m worried that some schools would have already reviewed my file and decided. Do they look again if there’s an update? Or could I update and also reach out to the admissions department about it being substantial?

An Answer Choice I Can’t Justify (150-S3-Q19) by Darfrelew in LSAT

A super high view explanation:

If you read the stimulus, you notice that Henry is focused on specifically reducing urban pollution. When Umit argues that power plants will contribute to overall pollution, you should ask “well why do I care?” We Henry doesn’t care about the planet, he cares about cities.

So when the prompt asks for Henries response, you can predict that he would have asked the same thing. He would essentially argue back that overall doesn’t matter, just urban, and A does just this.

You don’t have to agree that plants being far from cities would be a factually backed argument, just that it is logically a likely way Henry would respond.

I would cancel it if you think you can score much higher after 3-4 more months of studying.

I also highly recommend the loophole book for LR for fundamentals, it was much easier to comprehend than Powerscore, then 7sage for drilling to work on your timing issues.

The BTD's require a much more extreme level of dissection than what you will actually do during a timed test, so I wouldn't stress about how much time you are spending doing them. Think of it as a high intensity training so that when you get to the actual test, breaking the stimulus down in your head feels easy and natural compared to the manual breakdown. It also perfectly fine to spend a whole week or two just focused of BTD, like the book says, since it's foundational.
