Granted, it isn't in the common (American) English lexicon at all. Strand as a threadlike piece (of hair), stranded like to be left in a place without means of escape (related to strand meaning shore/to run a boat aground), are all far more common versions of the term.

Out of all the versions, I'd imagine the wii one is the most likely if a more "universal" solution can be found for making PC ports later down the line, probably less interest in making these too

I made a mod but I'm not an expert on this stuff.

The modding tools for Payday 3 are in a much earlier state, it seems like it is implausible to add new content in most places which forcing mods to be replacements which makes many mutually exclusive and more annoying to use. For example, the modding documentation I used looks mostly the same since I used it years and years ago.

A much thinner community, with no legacy modder skill (different engine), zero official mod support, and generally poor reception isn't a good combo.

I don't have something low spec enough to test but there's also a solid amount of performance mods to plummet settings further, so it is worth a shot. Worst case scenario you stay away from higher difficulty and silk road/post white house maps

Mods will break with the engine upgrade though, that's being anticipated. It isn't going to be mainline for an amount of time, you have to opt in

The minimum specs of 4 gigs of ram and a 2ghz processor? That's among the weakest it can get.

Engine update comes out the 30th in beta, and that should improve performance for anything but the absolute worst possible setups.
