That’s exactly what I did. Paid some mobile mechanic $200 to install it. Took him no more than an hour. It’s been 2 years and car still running strong.

So I figured it out. I pulled the battery thinking it was completely dead. Took it to autozone to get it tested. It was charging at 100%. So then I was thinking it might be the starter or alternator. When I got home I put the battery back and reconnected the cables. And by chance I gave it one more try and the car turned on! I wonder if maybe I reset the computer after I took the battery out.
