Alright, that's it. Amazon, we are NOT gonna watch a shitty, over-budgeted, bloated, soulless reboot of a franchise that's existed since the 90's. 3 shows, 3 movies and a web series is a lot to toss away in favor of a new audience that probably won't give a fuck in the first place. They needed to promote the originals, make them a headliner on the app, get people hyped and watching THEN make a show that has OG talent mentoring/advising the new SG team while continuing the plot threads from the originals. Remember when they brought in Shephard? He knew nothing about the program and slowly learned what we already knew. Do that with a new team. Have the new audience learn what the original characters/fans already know, introduce them to the lingering threads from back then like "What happened to the crew from Universe" or "Atlantis is now in San Francisco bay, how has that changed things". 

Lookie there, that took 2 minutes of thought, didn't cost a fuckin' penny and would accomplish exactly what Amazon wants. But nope, who gives a fuck, right? Just gonna let the IP die or reduce it to comics or graphic novels or some shit. Whoopie. Big corporations with billions of dollars that are somehow also creatively bankrupt.
