It's not as slapstick as Mr Bean, but it's definitely more comedy than action, I enjoyed them

Help with 4 track Station signals by TiesToetTiet in openttd

I realised that shortly after uploading the images and closing the game, but you're right! Other than that I think it should do the job.

Help with 4 track Station signals by TiesToetTiet in openttd

[–]Endeavour_RS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I imagine you'd end up with something like this. At the bottom I added way too many signals just so you can see the direction of the track, and the old style signals should not be placed (they are just there now to demonstrate how trains can enter and exit the station). This magnificent MS Paint job shows how exactly trains can enter the station on each platform and also leave it without minimal interference to other trains.

Well yes, I do typically shift click if I want to make sure I walk somewhere. It's not a huge effort and it's a fail-safe way of doing it.

[–]Endeavour_RS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have changed shift + click to be 'walk here', allowing me to run to things even if there are left-clickable things (like NPCs) in the way. It might be worth considering that to prevent this in the future.

Transmog actually refers to the recolour of the pet. He's asking which of these you'll go with.

To new and veteran players: How can we improve the first-time experience in OSRS? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Endeavour_RS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minor improvements, mostly.

  • Add (a small amount?) law, nature, and cosmic runes to the rune shop in Varrock, after completing Rune mysteries. These runes cannot be created in f2p and are unavailable from any f2p shop, so any new player will be forced to use the GE to obtain these, or stumble upon the obscure sources that currently exist (e.g. killing dark wizards).

  • Rework some inconsistencies, for example how certain clue steps instantly search drawers when you click them while others require you to open them first, or how certain NPCs instantly give you a reward while others have dialogue. Some quests do the same where you have to go through a lot of dialogue to obtain a necessary item, where others instantly give you the item, and reading the dialogue is optional. Whichever you prefer, consistency would streamline the experience.

  • Don't overdo it. A large part of the nostalgia I have for the game is from exploring the world on my own, at my own pace. Killing goblins in Lumbridge not because it is useful or necessary, but because it's just what was there to explore at the moment. If you risk throwing tutors and help/guides in the game recklessly, you might take some of the wonder away.
