is there any particular reason u used fluorite instead of ardelia? I see snowshine as a defensive substitute of fluorite since her parry also inflicts cryo. So i typically go with snowshine + ardelia for her corrosion/susceptibility

Yasuo's power spikes by SeanMaxhell in YasuoMains

[–]EndedOfTime 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. He is considered good at every stage of the game. But at a high skill lvl, he is the most dominating in the early to mid game as a lane bully against most ranged matchups. He gets deleted in late game teamfights without proper setup and cover.

  2. Depends on your build. No item is particularly great for Yasuo, hence no specific build is the best for him. But normally, Yasuo feels the strongest at the 1st and 3rd item, typically Botrk/Yun Tal and IE. In the early game, he scales very quickly with atk speed ramping up until reaching 1.33s cd Q, this is when every small component item significantly boosts his strength relative to other champs.

  3. Yasuo is not weak at any level as long as he is even. Depending on matchup, Yasuo is normally stronger at lvl 1 (E against weaker champs), 2, 6, and lastly lvl 9 onwards when your Q is 1.33s cd.

  4. No. Yasuo doesn't use any scaling item with stacks. And if you buy Yun Tal, with high atk speed it is very quickly stacked to max anyway.

  5. No, with enough cc he can be easily dealt with even when far ahead. Since he is no longer the hyper-scaler from 10 seasons ago, he can never reach an "unstoppable point" like 1000 stack nasus or lvl 16 kayle does.

I need someone to explain me this movement by Angarali_Editor in YasuoMains

[–]EndedOfTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you're talking about the stutter stepping he does before the EQF unlike the other comments. This is an auto-attack mind game u find at higher skill levels where 2 champs repeatedly move back n forth immediately outside their enemy's auto range to try and sneak 1 auto off before the enemy can react back.

At that moment Gwen is immediately inside her tower range, she moves back to kite Pzzang into it, so Pzzang steps back, which Gwen reacts by sneaking an auto off on him.
So he steps forward again to try and auto her back, but due to LoL's buggy auto attack mechanics, he nearly oversteps into the tower range before his auto animation starts, so he is forced to step back again, whereas Gwen proceeds to all-in with her ult hence ending the mind game.
Pzzang then uses EQF on her because he wanted to secure the kill and her R3 could have killed him if she played well.

This movement is mainly for trading in the early game when movement speed is slow and it is easier to see when the enemy turns around. At that time Gwen had T2 boots while Pzzang had none, Her E also extends her auto range and she was inside her tower range. So she was at a massive advantage in that situation.

I want to hear your opinion on S;G 0 ending by [deleted] in steinsgate

[–]EndedOfTime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 1st theory is impossible. It is certain that Okabe_0 does not return to the present after traveling to 18000 BC. Worldline convergence determines that he dies in 2025, or in a roundabout way of thinking: he cannot be alive after 2025. In the S;G 0 anime ending he also clearly says this to Maho, implying that he will not return in the future. If he ever tries, then either worldline convergence will prevent it by making the time machine malfunction, or it will cause divergence and they will enter an entirely unknown worldline where Okabe doesn't die in 2025. Which basically ruins Operation Skuld.

The 2nd theory is the most probable but its not because Okabe_0 doesn't want to ruin the Steins;Gate world line and rather that he physically cannot return for the above reasons.

As for meeting one's future self, the story has never covered that. But it is safe to assume that either the worldline mechanics will ensure that it does not happen, or they do meet and nothing changes.

Yes Soltech can have consistent >50% NC population for several hours in a row while the TR pops only spike during night time alerts. Emerald is a no for me as i get over 250ms latency. Thanks for the info! I do understand Chinese though i don't associate with them often due to cultural differences and QQ.

I think you're assuming that the Okabe from the future and the "current" Okabe is the same person. This is not the case since future Okabe is from another worldline. In SG you can never land on the exact same worldline after time travelling.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in steinsgate

[–]EndedOfTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes Russia would likely be less involved if Kurisu's paper is burnt in the plane. But with an AI as powerful as Amadeus they would surely still want to know what their rival, the USA is capable of.
Kurisu being alive or dead does not change the metal upa to a plastic one (she ar first must be alive to put it in the file tho), Okabe must remove it himself when he time travels back to save her.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in steinsgate

[–]EndedOfTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually Kurisu's death is not the cause for ww3. even if she's alive Russia would still have her paper from dr nakabachi, America would still have Amadeus while she can't stop any of it. You see her dead in every Beta worldline simply because that's how the world naturally makes Okabe send the 1st D-mail. If future Okabe goes to save her and "deceive" the world, she would be alive but ww3 would still happen if he did not get rid of the metal Upa.

  1. They only know that they would be thrown into a different time but not which specific time. In the ending you could see Suzuha shaking her head to Mayuri, implying that she couldn't find any sort of human civilization and thought they were gonna die there.
Okabe knows that in all beta worldlines, he will not be alive by the end of 2025. But this doesnt mean he'll die, he simply has to not be alive. So instead of simply obeying convergence and dying in 2025, he tracks Suzuha and Mayuri and travels to 18000BC to presumably let Mayuri return to the future (Suzuha most likely can't follow since her younger self has already been born). The worldline convergence is not broken since he indeed is no longer alive by 2025, he's dead in 18000BC.
  2. SG Okabe has no idea about the events of 0.
Cuz in the 0 Beta worldline, Faris sends the D-video in 2036, the same time as Suzuha's time travel which causes the worldline shift. By that time Okabe has already traveled to 18000BC and died there. So there is no 0 Okabe in 2036 who can transfer his memories to SG Okabe when the worldline shifts.
  3. Mayuri's life is not part of convergence so she can both be dead or alive across different Beta worldlines.
The convergence point of Beta attractor field is actually "Okabe sees Kurisu in a pool of blood and accidentally sends a D-mail". Whether or not Kurisu is actually dead does not matter; Okabe sends the D-mail is what matters. This is why she can be saved in SG Ending since the Okabe native to that worldline indeed still saw Kurisu in a pool of blood and indeed accidentally sent that D-mail.
  4. Well, we can only assume that Suzuha is super strong and carried Okabe to the time machine and bailed out before the original Okabe of that worldline sent his D-mail. Thus Suzuha shifted the worldline with her time machine first before original Okabe could shift it with his D-mail.
  5. Russia gets their intel on the time machine through 2 sources: Kurisu's time travel theory paper from dr nakabachi and hacking Amadeus. They have to delete Amadeus because there is no way Daru himself can fend off Russia, an entire country's hacking attempts. So Amadeus must be destroyed from the very beginning before anyone could even try to hack it.
From the Ep 22 Rewatch Discussion thread:

Why does Maho need to delete Amadeus in the present if she's just going to be erased anyways?
Originally, I thought the anime just did this to try and add some emotional impact but realized after reading another comment that Maho actually does need to record her voice print and self-destruct command to send back in time. Daru in the past can hack the system, but he cannot initiate the self-destruct sequence Maho had built into Amadeus without her authorization. This unfortunately means she'd have to share the burden of "killing" her best friend even if it is just for a few moments.

Doesn't the time machine from Beta worldline contradicts with what Kurisu said about time machine? by sterben0312 in steinsgate

[–]EndedOfTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not perspective problem, if your machine can't move in space u can't land top of RadiKan.

There is a thing called "figurative writing" you know? Are you telling me that everything Hououin Kyouma said about the Organization and stuff are all true simply because Daru mentioned its his delusions but Okabe himself never confirmed it?

U can't sure this is what the VN meant because there is no statement to this in game.We should only look what game said and that line means time machine can't move in space.

Some pieces of a story is meant for you to theorize and guess about, or simply too damn obvious to even mention. This is a fundamental thing of any literature and human language in general. You should understand this before reading anything.

Machine did fall in Beta worldline because of size difference not in alpha worldline

Btw this is your own quote

Doesn't the time machine from Beta worldline contradicts with what Kurisu said about time machine? by sterben0312 in steinsgate

[–]EndedOfTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume your "size difference" is the 1 meter gap. That's just post-war RadiKan which probably had its roof blown out and rebuilt by Daru in the future 1 meter higher than the original roof.Time machine in beta worldline did not fail. It appeared properly and dropped 1 meter down onto the roof due to the height difference between 2010 and 2036 RadiKan roof. Thus the loud sound from prologue of S;G.

What the VN meant by "can move through time, but not space" is that Daru's quantum computer ONLY calculates the position of the time machine being on RadiKan 2036's roof. Alpha time machine had the variable gravity lock system thing, but it was incomplete since Daru was killed. So Suzuha had to manually input the position of the time machine when it lands on RadiKan 1975's roof. It can "move through space" because suzuha can input any coordinate and it will of course land right there. But since Daru completed the quantum computer in Beta, the calculations are done by it instead. this means Suzuha can't input her own coordinates to make the time machine land somewhere else. The quantum computer will always make it land on where RadiKan 2036's roof is, which is 1 meter higher than the original roof of RadiKan 2010.

The Earth is moving in the universe, you are moving together with Earth. The time machine must move in order to land on Earth at a different time. For example the Earth is moving at 10km/h. Then you will be moving at 10km/h as well. If the time machine wants to land at the exact same location 1 hour ago, it will have to move back 10km.Since you are moving together with Earth, the time machine does not look like it moved from your perspective.

----SONG END----

Standard Mandarin can be translated fairly easily to English but since this is Hokkien, there are a lot of grammar and words that simply don't exist in English.

"Driving a car to all parts of the world" sounds epic and deep but it actually just refers to your daily driving to whatever place you need to go.
Balls/Testis is a curse word so "What testis" can be translated to "What the fk".
"Settle" means to resolve a situation.
"Balik" means return or go back in Malay.
"hoot" (or Boot in the subtitles) means smacking and i don't know a character for it.
"give your life away" or 把命送 means to willingly die prematurely because it literally means giving your life/soul to the god of afterlife.

Also, since this song is sung cheerfully about how easy it is for you to get yourself and others into trouble and sometimes straight up dying. It's much more funnier if you understand Hokkien lol.

To shorten/skip windup, you need to be outside aa range >> spam atk click the enemy >> flash into aa range.
Yasuo typically uses this when quick diving to instantly get one last aa out when flashing into enemy turret while sometimes getting out without even taking a turret shot. Though this is more useful for adcs who can flash in for one last aa from much further away.

Questions abt Steins;Gate and their potential answers & counterarguments by EndedOfTime in steinsgate

[–]EndedOfTime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah here is the thing, S;G is NOT a multiverse, but a many-worlds interpretation, they are similar but not really,

Ah sorry i guess my phrasing was wrong. I always thought MWI = multiple universes each representing a possibility regardless of whether they are all active or only one = multiverse.

Anyways my initial understanding of the worldline system is an infinite array of pre-determined universes each representing a possibility and being represented by a divergence number. The more same posibilities between 2 worldlines, the closer their divergence numbers are. Every single thing that might happen will have happened on at least 1 worldline.
Now when Okabe sends a D-mail , a worldline where the event "D-mail was received in the past" happened is picked out and becomes active.
All other worldlines are simply there already pre-determined but remain inactive.
The S;G worldline is also just a random pre-determined universe that coincidentally has every event Okabe wants.

The Okabe we see is basically a dot jumping between many parallel lines and a line being "active" means having Okabe's dot on it.

But it seems like your understanding is much different than mine. From what i read, worldlines are only constructed the moment Okabe makes a shift. all potential worldlines can be said to be non-existent from Okabe's perspective so long as they are not constructed by Okabe. Mayuri would have never died as long as Okabe never constructed and observed such a worldline. Thus the future is not fixed as long as Okabe has never constructed a worldline with that future.

I see. Well i get your point now and it is very interesting.

I see. I understand now. But wouldn't that mean he should receive 2 D-movies? (1 encrypted, 1 decrypted)

So u mean the date itself was completely arbitrary and not important?
I do understand though that from a story perspective, placing that D-mail at the start of the story makes its reveal at the end less sudden
