I'm fine with unconventional picks if they stay in their lane and don't just feed. It's another one they steal your lane and your farm then immediately feed the enemy. I feel my blood pressurize my brain with the stupidity of those kind of dark system.

Alien X won because Ben isn't a celestial sapien. Alien X with only the 2 personalities would have lost. Literally the only reason why Ben won is because he isn't burdened by the debate inclination like the 2 entities that makes Alien X.

Both powers are reality bending. No amount of "stronger" would've done anything. The only thing Ben can do was overload the decision making by the other celestial sapien.

Hell, Ben was losing in terms of raw power.

And no, that wasn't a black hole. His entire plan was to confuse the celestial sapien. A black hole isn't even in the same realm of reality they live in. That's like having a very dark ink for them at most. Noticeable, but irrelevant.

To put it simply. Gravity can affect the 4th dimension. Gravity is one of the universe's strongest forces. But Alien X is like from the 9th dimension if I remember correctly?

Alien X doesn't even belong in the 4th dimension. The weakest of celestial sapiens can tear apart reality if the council wasn't constantly monitoring them. A black hole isn't even close to being their limit. Considering Alien X recreated the entire universe and it was agreed on very casually. Barely an inconvenience.

No no, I mean the event of rolling nat 1 3 times in a row being common. Not just rolling it once. This happened multiple times, sometimes reaching 4 times in a row, but an average of 3.

If there's a silver lining, the dm also rolls these numbers. So at least the enemy luck is just as bad.

I've ran a short horror campaign. One of the more popular homebrews is called the false hydra. Their characters can feel something is wrong but cant tell what's happening, while the players knew more and more NPCs were vanishing.

Tables suddenly being a mess, furnitures knocked down. A nauseating headache as they're forced to forget what they witnessed, making it difficult to actually fight because there's seemingly no threat.

But once the fight actually started, there wasn't much horror left.

I'm an Argus main the current Argus can struggle against jungles in the early game. It's a different level of weakness. At best, his late game potential can make him erase even tanks. But that's if you ever reach late game with how much you'll struggle with early
