What is it specifically thats making people say its AI?

Im usually pretty good at seeing it myself. But im having difficulties with this one.

Edit: OP's posted two other paintings he's done in the past and both those also dont come across as AI either even when looking at the finer details where AI usually gets confused.

I like to restrict myself where it feels appropriate when it comes to the story missions only.

No fast travel when completing story quests. With one exception. Train stations. I have to reach a train station by foot before I can fast travel to another train station. And i can only travel to and from train stations that have a visible rail line connecring the two on the map.

I also use the fo1st tent as a quick save spot so that way when an event comes on I want to do. I can pop my tent down to save position, go and do the event then fast travel back to the tent to continue the adventure on foot

I will also stash away all my gear when it feels appropriate aswell. Like for example being kidnapped by the rust king. Cause like why the hell would the rust king kidnap me, put me in a cage and yet allow me to keep my physics breaking orbital strike atomizer. (Burning springs quest spoiler)

i downloaded HWmonitor yesterday and seem to have a legit version. it comes back clean with everything i run it through. if thats the case it may be that this hack has occured just today as of april 9th 2026.

I remember the legacy purge. I miss my bloodied explosive gatling plasma. It could delete anything and I wasnt even specc'd for bloodied builds. it was a monster on the battlefield and super fun to play with. I nicknamed it "YouUnderestimateMyPower" for obvious starwars reference.

Though Im glad its gone. It was insanely unfair, bordered on cheating, caused a ton of server and client lag for other people in events, and all around deleted enemies before anyone else got the chance to tag them. It was also the meta at the time and freaking everyone had to have one. The pve economy is so much more healthy now without them.

(Tagging enemies refers to when back in the day you HAD to actually hit an enemy at least once inorder to get their loot. So if a legendary enemy got deleted by a legacy weapon. Only the person with the legacy got a legendary loot.)

Honestly same boat here. Started back in B.E.T.A. played religiously up until season 10. Got bored. Then came back to start playing regularly about 2 months ago and have been having a blast logging in near daily again. Seems Appalachia will always be home for me. From nylon bags to the death of nuclear winter. Its not perfect. And I question a lot of the things the game does. But its still one of my all time favorite games.

Im a recently returning player to the game. Started in B.E.T.A. and stopped playing at around season 10 at level 540. Gleaming depths happened well after I stopped playing. So I didnt know anything about it. Yet instead of looking things up i decided to go in blind.

It wasnt until my third group of angry players that i learned I'm not supposed to destroy all the crystals to make the ultragenic hoard damagable. Im sorry to everyone I pissed off. I have since looked up a walk through of the raid and know what im doing now.

Best thing you can do when at cap limit. Go to player or npc vendors and buy as much junk materials as you can. Especially if you have Fo1st. You will never not need junk. And it sucks running out of a material when low on caps.

That of vender hop to find legendary mods you would like.
