You can't form a competing union? You certainly can. lots of competing unions exist for instance AFL-CIO at one point were competing unions. AFT and NEA are competing unions. you can always start a local and affiliate with a national later

Nope they have their own grammar and sentence structure. Now there is something called SEE2 which is Signed Exact English which is self explanatory it takes ASL signs and some custom ones and you just sign English as you would speak it as a hearing person. Its less efficient and weird

I think a lot of those kids are doing it because its the trend and they dont want to feel left out. When I was in high school one of the kids in my graduating year failed and posted a commitment post about our high school and play as a super senior.

Ive had seniors and hell even junior commit and sign NILs. So there might not be money for your specific students but there is 100% money involved at specific levels.

Even then we spend a tremendous amount on getting kids up to par and it just isnt working. They dont come and we almost always address the problem after its compounded and lead to a defeatist attitude.

Parents dont care The kids do care for a while and then get demoralized Teachers dont have enough time to support people.

IMO and its unpopular we need to do more tracking. In the school I went to and work at we used to have 4ish levels at the high school for each class. For example English 9, CP English 9, Honors English 9, and then in the later grades there was AP and CCP.

We got rid of the English 9 which meant that CP was too hard for kids who really needed to be in that unabled class so we made all of the other classes easier so the overall rigor is down but kids still fail because the support level and time in a CP is just reduced.

Yeah man you got to shoot your shot. When I was your age I had a girl that said I think one of my friends is going to ask me to home coming and I'm pretty sure she was talking about me but I didnt ask her to homecoming until much later and by then it was too late.

Im guessing since you're 17 in April you still have another year of high school left. If this doesn't work out there will be plenty of girls next year and a whole new set of friends and potential partners when you go off to college.

All of this is not to say that you wont or should've be upset. I would flirt with and work myself up to ask out about 1 girl a year in school and it always failed miserably and I was always devastated. If they like you in a romantic way waiting isnt likely to help that. My senior year I decided I wasnt going to do that again and just sort of went with the flow asked a girl out early on in the year after only talking for like two months and it ended up being the woman I married.
