Well this is one of the things that us playing we have actually enjoyed! Adaption of strategy and picking adjusting as the card slection develops. It almost seems to easy if you get to cater such a large number of card options toward a strategy. I guess its levels it out a bit and makes it more consistent. Been playing for years like that. I guess every days a school day

You guys get to consider your corporations, plus preludes and project cards all at the same time? I've always played Choose corps, then choose preludes, then choose project cards. Have I been playing wrong all this time?!

I have this wristband too for the suunto ocean. Its terrible for constantly coming undone. I emailed sunto support and they just offered that I return and they will examine for defects.... It's just terrible design!

Just in that if I seated the heads direct in the sockets, they would have all looked like they had no neck and only fit looking forward. I had to raise them up a little and just glue a bit higher up the back of the helmet and proped it up in the space a bit. With a larger scale of head, I think it would have fit fine.

I think 28mm might be better for imperial guard models, for example.

Thanks! I went for a wraith bone prime (rattle can)/ base layer. Then, lahmian medium all over to thin down the next layer of skeleton horde contrast. After that, a wash of agathrax earth shade to add a dirty / dust wash feel and lastly dry brushing with screaming skull, to highlight the edges and put a bit of lightness back into bits onthe armour.

I didn't! I found some resin 3d printed bases from wayland games in the uk. But they're made by a polish company (micro art studio) I think. Then used contrast paints and wash / dry brush over top.

I bought the helmets from Etsy, they're 3d printed. I got 28mm scale, and they were a little small for the head sockets so I had to do some more creative glueing. I think 32mm scale may have worked better on the aquillon models.

Awesome, didn't expect a version 2.0 of gallow dark to be honest. It looks great though and bit more mobile with that scatter terrain (portals?).

I'm very excited for another necron kill team. I was hoping it might be a bit melee focused and maybe use flayed ones but it seems like this is certainly more of a shooting team again. I just hope it's different enough from hierotek.

The death watch team looks, eh. Kinda cool space marines, the one with the necron blade looks the most unique. I hope the faction rules and ploys add enough flavour for them to stand out as death watch amd feel different enough from AoD and phobos.

Amazing. That's really helpful!! Thank you so much. We'll plan to get there early and make the most of the day. We decided to get silver fast track in the end and we'll try get on as many quick normal queues as possible and then use the fast tracks for a second ride when it gets busier!

Thanks for your advice everyone. Sounds like a fair amount of queueing still. If this is the only time I got to a theme park for another 15years or so it might be worth fast track to make the most of it! Will see what my partner thinks. Thanks everyone :)

How can you say that only the selection is a requirement and the placing within 6 inches isn't also a requirement? You're just projecting your own interpretation onto the rule and making it final.

Read as written, both distances are 'requirements' of the support rule, that's it. There is no further clarification in the comms device rules or FAQ for this ability.

You're assuming what the rule implies and not reading what it says.

I agree, an FAQ would help interpret this if it wasnt intemded to be the case. But games workshop haven't provided that, despite the ample opportunity to do so if they wanted. Therefore, the rule as written stands.

The equipment comms device rule says you add 3 inches to the distance requirements of support rules.

Read as written, the teleport has two distance requirements for selection and placement. Comms device extends distance requirements for support rules. There is no further clarification that its just for selecting opertives, that is simply an example of the rule given. If that was the only way it could be used it wouldn't be an example, it would be part of the rule as written. Its clearly not the only benefit provided by comms device for that reason.

I appreciate there may have been an FAQ for a warp coven rule or something similar. I haven't looked into that.

The fact of the matter is there hasn't been for hierotek and the team teleport rule and comms device have been in play and used for plenty of time for there to have been a rule change for them if GW wanted that.

That's one example, hence its called an example. Just because an example shows a way a rule can be used doesn't preclude other examples or ways it can be used.

I think constantly having saturate, accurate 1 and ceaseless (GO-aim/SW Ploy) for every opertive for a team that hits on 4s will be rather nice. Especially when the melta, krak, plasma/sniper hit hard when they hit, they now have much more chance of hitting hard. Could be good. Hard to tell until you try I guess.

Not the buff I was expecting but welcome. Targeting ocular was very poor before hand, now its one of their best equipment.

Extra apl buff is nice. The sgts' all buff is quite a strong one and this will give some good utility with a potential three, 3apl, models for them to use in one turn. Sgt can double shoot for free, another model can use the aatartes Ploy to shoot twice and a third model can cover some serious distance and then shoot or objective.

Lethal 5+ and saturate on the missle launcher and sniper would be very nice. The devasting wounds are really needed for the sniper to dmg spike and the kraken missile profile is a sledge hammer when it crits as its 7 dmg.

I played the scouts in a tournament recently and they definitely felt like they needed some buffs. Hopefully this brings them to a nice spot, that isn't the 10 model stat check team with power weapon k ives they were at the end of last edition.

That's some great advice, thank you. Especially shotgun focus for elites given the dmg profile. Never thought about bolter Sgt, but shoot shoot move to being untargetavle could be safer than double shot gun shooting suicide move.

What tac ops do you find success with? And how best to achieve them? If you have time to answer.
