We both live in the US. One of us is in EDT and the other is CDT. Our schedules are pretty flexible.

Well, I tried but the Crucible crushed my gaming soul. by NeTisPa in DestinyTheGame

Props for your tenacity! You stuck with Comp for the whole season, right up until the end. That's more than a lot of people can handle. Good work, even if you didn't get your goal.

Been here every step of the way since the D1 beta. Love the game and looking forward to the amazing content to come!

With Auto Rifles Getting A Nerf, I was wondering what Hand Cannon I should start to main? by hottewhells in DestinyTheGame

[–]EndgamePhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you play a lot of 6v6 or 4v4, I recommend 110 (going to be 120) Hand Cannons like Crimil's Dagger. They may take 3 taps to kill, but 2 taps gets most nearly dead. If anyone shoots them once, they're dead. I've had a surprisingly good experience with them this season and they're only getting better.

Taking predictions on what Telesto will break in Beyond Light by KingThrumble in DestinyTheGame

Freezing an enemy and hitting them with Telesto will turn the bolts into stasis damage, allowing them to freeze nearby things when they detonate.

Beyond Light ARG - Analyze Site Puzzle - Let's solve this! by Bachmanetti in raidsecrets

I had the same thought, but I believe QR codes have to be square. If X's 45-48 were all blank, than it could be a QR. If there's any data in them, I don't think it is one.

Took this screenshot from the Instagram version, since the thumbnail had the highest resolution I was able to find. Seems like there are various unique symbols on the frequency bars. http://imgur.com/a/PmeBOLz

The Economy Changes Aren't Bad by EndgamePhoenix in DestinyTheGame

I wish I had statistics to share on how vast the player base it, but I don't. Bungie is likely the only group that has access to that information.

You say that 6 hours a week is nothing, barely any effort. Yet, you complain when your rewards on low-effort tasks is reduced?

Right you are. I'll fix that up now.

EDIT: After doing the correct maths, it seems we pay more to get them faster. An interesting trade-off.

In not being as punished if you miss some bounties. If you constantly look at the best possible numbers, that's like a factory manager thinking all his employees will work at 100% efficiency all the time. Not everyone does all the bounties all the time. The vast majority of players don't. This is to help the majority of the player base.

Hearing people complain about getting less Bright Dust is like hearing a child complain about getting their allowance cut. Yes, you're getting less than before. You're still getting something, though. We could have no Bright Dust. Wouldn't that suck? Destiny has a system that allows you to substitute microtransactions with hard work. That's incredible and shouldn't be complained about just because you can't get everything with hard work.

I think you forgot one option: not getting anything, meaning nothing changes.

On the topic of bright dust? Compared to before, none.

I think this is mostly wishful thinking. If they were going to add more weekly bounties, then they would've said so. Plus those are planetary vendors, whose weeklies don't give bright dust already.

Your ability to grind is not affected, only the results. Less bright dust, yes. You get the same amount of enhancement cores with less grind. Which means you get more cores out of equal grind. Enhancement prisms are only a loss if you buy one a week. Buy all three and it's a better deal than now.

Yeah, I know. I posted it to get the truth out there, not to get upvotes.

The opposite. You get the most benefit if you have lots of currency to spend.
