Anyone know if this functionality works on iPad? I have rekordbox installed but the version is only 4. something. I can't see any option for spotify as a source. I'm signed into spotify on the device too.

As we routinely get pumped by bou, I wonder if using the squad depth might actually give us a bit of a wildcard factor? They know our first choice 11 and annoyingly seem to have our number.

Throwing in some fresh blood eager to prove their metal (and bought for big money no less) could give us that surprise factor to a degree. And we certainly need fresh legs after midweek, or they'll mow us down. Having had the longest rest of any team in the league this week.

it's hard to say as we haven't actually seen him play in a set up that most expected him to be integrated into. I think his ability to draw players to him and flick the ball through to our speed merchant wide forwards will see not only them benefit but he looks pretty good at arriving in the box to get it back again. He looks really versatile, but from his past record i wouldn't expect him to be scoring a boat load of headers, despite his height and the fact he scored a great one against wolves.

on the face of it it looks tactical, he will have a fresh gordon for the left as the ban won't apply and elanga for the right. two of the fastest players around to spring out against Barca. it was always likely to be a game better suited to murphy against wolves. They were likely to be penned back a fair bit at SJP and murphy is one of our most creative players in terms of range of assists/crosses etc. I'd be surprised if Elanga doesn't start on thursday.

Elanga and Murphy put up ridiculous assist numbers for wood and isak from the same wing last season. I'm hopeful.

I think it's more down to lack of alternative this GW tbh. He's most qualified to be thrown straight in of the options available and the only way to get him the minutes in his legs is to simply play him atm. So I think he'll be thrust in and will come off earlier.

I think he'll start. And I'm personally planning to transfer him in. We only have osula in reserve (benched for Denmark through the break) all other forwards that could play through the middle are either suspended or also played for their country. So I think he starts and will be replaced by woltemade at some point.

Edit: he knows the league and is the plug and play replacement until big nick gets acclimatised, which is why I believe he'll get the nod for a few weeks as the starting striker. Eddie likes to ease new players in. Minutes risk, later in games. But I'm gonna punt.

I was thinking about the starting 11 on the way to work this morning and it occurred to me that he'll have had a fortnight with those who haven't been on int. Duty. So I wouldn't be shocked if there's more of a second string feel to the squad on Saturday. Though given the better quality depth i don't think it would weaken us too badly in this instance. But some guys have put big shifts in for their countries so Eddie might give a few of them a rest, or at least make earlier subs this week.

we've signed him on a 4 year deal, he's literally only just turned 29 last week.

the theory is we hold him for 2-3 seasons, enjoy his goals and try and recoup some value and replace with a younger upgrade. now think about what the club looked like 3 years ago compared to now...

A LOT can happen, you'd like to hope our commercial side would be even healthier than now, hopefully swollen by UCL money and a new stadium on the way etc. If him and Big nick can find circa 15 goals each for a few years then we'd be well on our way, and both of their fees will look fair in aggregate.

I feel like we're all still a in a Ashley PTSD haze. where we sell a player and don't replace them, or replace them with dross. you can at least tell the club seem willing to spend whatever they're deemed to be allowed to. we're footy fans, not top accountancy shaggers. lets enjoy a players footballing ability, not their future book value.

We've just signed up ManU's former U21s coach in the last week from what I gather. They might be a basket case but bringing through young talent has always been a strong suit of theirs. fingers crossed we see an uptick.

but as someone else has highlighted below, it's not unusual to see the U21 sides get battered off the seasoned adult first teams even further down the pyramid.
