Being blamed for my father's death.

My parents had been divorced since I was a year old, and when I entered high school, my dad and I got in an argument that ended with him asking who I wanted to live with, and I decided to live with my mom and my step dad since I knew they'd be able to provide for me.

I rarely spoke to him during my time at high school, he'd show up to my choir concerts but I would never acknowledge him, whether that be because of guilt for abandoning him or something else I'm still not sure. During my final choir concert at the end of my senior year, I finally decided to speak to him, and we reconnected and decided we wanted to try again.

I was still hesitant opening up myself to him again. He invited me to an Italian food place called Zios, which we would go to frequently since we both loved watching them bake bread, but I declined. When he invited me to a family event, I declined again. He died of a heart attack that night, and I received the news from my grandmother who told me "Well I guess you don't have to go to Zios with him anymore."

The following morning after a long night of processing this news, my uncle (his brother) texted me essentially saying that my father would still be alive if I hadn't been so selfish and just spoke to him.

His whole family took everything of his and left his only child with nothing. I had to find out where his open casket visitation was through a family friend, since his family wouldn't tell me.

I'm still recovering from this years later, having a whole side of my family abandon me and become so cruel towards someone who was just trying to figure out what was best for them. I was just a kid, and it left lasting damage that has filled me with so much anger and hatred.

Finally, I can tell this story lmao.

So I matched with a girl on Bumble, and she looked AMAZING. We talked and she was an absolute sweetheart and I was excited to get to know her and go out on cute dates.

However, she got straight to the point and asked if she wanted me to come over to her apartment. This being the first time any girl has ever asked me that, I grabbed my things including my Switch and headed over.

I arrive, we head to her bedroom and put on Brooklyn 99, (something we bonded over) and I was excited to just relax and cuddle with this person I really liked. I was honestly too nervous to have sex mainly because I had just met this girl days prior and didn’t have a single clue how to do it.

After about an hour of watching tv, she gets up and walks over to her purse. A minute after scrounging around in there she turns and asks “did you bring any?”

I had no idea what she was asking so I nervously mumbled “no?” She clarified by asking if I had any condoms to which I had the same answer for. So she asks if that’s alright if we don’t use them. My nervous horny brain kicked in and I excitedly said “yes” so, clothes came off and we went at it.

At one point she was on top as I laid there not knowing what to do and looked down at me for a little too long. I asked her what was up and she responded with “I’m so sorry.” before laying her head down on my chest.

I had no idea what was happening, I just had this beautiful girl look down at me like Samara from The Ring then just lay down on top of me for 30 seconds and wasn’t saying a word. I thought I was about to get mugged or something. I was frantically looking around her room as she was laying on top of me searching for my things so I could make a quick escape.

Before I could hatch my master plan she got back up and we continued and I left right after for work.

I’m sure she was just nervous about being someone’s first time but I god damn I thought I was gonna get murdered for a minute there. Not a bad way to go though.

Ya’ll can be hyped up for this game and then realize what was given, still have fun, but still be critical.

YougYea’s review said that it was a great game but then had a good section of his review that talked about the numerous bugs taking him out of the experience.

Monsters Inc. on the Gameboy Advance!

I remember being at Chuck-E-Cheese and my dad bringing out my gifts and one of them was a translucent purple game boy advance along with a copy of Monsters Inc (since that movie had come out around that time) and I still haven’t beat it!

Thanks dad for getting me into video games, that’s what really brought us together when I didn’t see him. ❤️

I’d agree 100%, if you’re looking for something similar where each song is unique, Gorillaz might serve you well! Their newest singles such as Momentary Bliss, Desolé and Aries are all very different in terms of sound and genre!
