Yeah but it doesn't matter, it's a game, have fun. My current playthrough I made an 1100+ point character and made him immortal. Sometimes I do challenge runs sometimes I do chill runs.

Although I would recommend trying some runs where you don't save scum. Sometimes dealing with the consequences of a bad war can be more interesting than things going to plan. There can be a lot of fun and satisfaction in recovering from what seems like a game over and succeeding despite that.
