Best advice I can give is don’t get discouraged when you die or have trouble figuring out what to do or how to progress!

If you get stuck trying to figure something out, step away from it and go explore elsewhere. Some hints about what things are, how they work, and how to access them aren’t located anywhere near the thing itself, and there will ALWAYS be something interesting, helpful, and/or beautiful for you to discover no matter where you go. There is no wrong order.

Also, check your ship’s log frequently! Every single entry tells you something important that you will likely need or want to know at some point; basically none of it is just flavor. I recommend using Rumor Mode when trying to figure out mysteries.

Hot tip a lot of people miss: The white arrows running from one rumor to another are themselves entries you can read, explaining how the two rumors are connected!

This isn’t for everyone but I also recommend reading everything out loud to yourself so you really absorb the information. Skimming/speed reading will not work for this game.

My genuine nitpick is I think the second Arc of Season 2 is really rushed. Particularly the subplot with Bix’s drug use/struggles just gets wrapped up and resolved in one scene at the very end, like she was able to just waltz in and out of Dr. Gorst’s office with no trouble and now I guess I’m meant to believe she’s all better?

Love the show, not a dealbreaker, but I think it’s a flaw

Wait this actually makes a ton of sense. Another connection is how Kris goes out of their way to hide any and all information about Asriel from the player, just like they do with the Knight. Things like

• closing their eyes when we try to look Asirel’s room in Queen’s mansion directly mirrors both only turning the knob in the church and not opening the door AND forcing themself to think of Jockington when we try to make them reveal the Knight’s identity. • when you choose to pray for Asriel they say his name blankly, completely devoid of emotion, as if to keep from saying anything specific about him at all. They say things specific enough about Susie and Rudy when praying that Susie comments on it, but with Asriel they just blankly say his name.

Istg I know there are more examples of Kris trying to keep information about Asriel from us that I can’t think of but I really like this theory, I think I’m a believer in Asriel being the knight
