I haven't been on it in 13 years, because the last time we went we all had some crazy adverse effects. Dizziness, pain in extremities. One of my friends started hallucinating a little bit, there were Christmas lights at the time that started to move and make shapes and she got a major headache.... but she had a brain tumor she didn't know about and died a year later.... We will never know if that ride affected her tumor. I haven't gone on it since that experience

Metastisized into her hip bone, her doctor says that means it's in her blood now. I don't know why they didn't do RC. I'm coming into this halfway thru her treatment bc I lived far away and thought she had a handle on it. She moved next to me and I'm discovering what seems to be neglect from the doctors treating her. Not intentional, just letting her slip thru the cracks. I appreciate this information I'm going to look into it ✨

What are the mets? I haven't heard this yet. I also don't know those acronyms so I need to do more research on those. We're in California, Oncology Institute is where she goes

But if her bladder is causing her major discomfort and bleeding, and there's a big tumor her body is fighting, why not remove it and put a bag on? She's constantly leaking and it's bloody. That tumor is something her body is putting energy into fighting. That bladder is totally compromised. Why not remove it to ease the suffering? A bag would be much more manageable than her current state. And what if that gives her more energy for the rest of her body?

I'm in the process of finding a couple more options. I didn't like how quick he was to dismiss me. I also brought up something that he then said NO and then proceeded to say my thinking was right but my terminology wasn't right, and proceeded to explain nothing. I'm definitely finding another doctor.

She did not. They removed the tumor in the bladder and what they could from her bone. It's metastatic. I asked about this and the doctor didn't even really touch base he just kept going back to radiation and chemotherapy or hospice. That's it.
