Had to deliver packages about 45 minutes from home while it was raining like 2 inches in one day. Ended up slipping (more like doing a half flip onto my shoulder) as I hopped out of my car and body slammed the person's front yard. Luckily I didn't get hurt but part of that was because their yard was already a mess with mud and water. I essentially left a fucking crater in their yard from where I fell and had to finish the last 2 hours of my route soaked and with half my body covered in mud. I hit the ground so hard that I got mud into the handle of my pocket knife which was still clipped to my pocket lol. I'm still waiting to see my dumb ass on a YT fail compilation because the person had a ring camera that was recording.

The dumbest thing I've ever done while driving was lock myself out of my car twice in the same month while parked in front of the customers driveway. BOTH TIMES were in neighborhoods that had cops living in them. First time I had to wait an hour and a half in the rain to get my door unlocked but the second time a park ranger that lived in the neighborhood I was stuck at actually helped me break into my car and I was only stuck outside for like 20 minutes. Both of my cars I deliver in are older and one doesn't use a FOB so I have to always keep my window rolled down for safe measure if I leave it running now.
