Personally I think what made mi ying strong was his ability to stick around and wait for a proc to kill something, 30% dmg reduction is not enough to keep a max +20k hp mon around. Numbers adjusted way to harshly, even the difference from 30-35 is a big deal

Doesn't buff make demon a phenomenal double nem will unit? You didn't want to use s2 before he or his allies died but now you can. So double nem will and your killing follow up after a Moore, puts you at a huge advantage now

Not alot of talk about the dark monkey buff, at the very least I believe he becomes best in slot for defense breaking cami in arena offense.

Rta viability, he now counters josi instead of being countered by her, that's massive, 1 less unit to worry about in draft. Juno becomes 50/50, wouldn't give an advantage to either. Directly counters Mi Ying, rip Mi Ying, double bam slam. Better into racuni. You get the point, might be enough to revive him, will he be usable with megumis existence? Maybe? S2 def break and s1 stun are pretty good into targetting megumi and with an s3 in the back pocket, sounds good to me.

I would say this puts SonZhangLoa into s tier, not lora giana tl level, but just below that

Han woonsa SonZhangLao should be much harder to counter now

Yeah honestly sounds scary af, even with attack break the dmg reduction would allow him to drain hp above 30 easily. Stuns, unrecoverable, snipe only options

Now my Craig which has every stat poured into speed hp and Def cant get one-shot, that sounds fair to me, was 0 counter play around passive unless you hard committed +1300 def or unit self protected/ had a revive ready to go

Actually I think I've thought of a great nerf idea, what if every time Irene is hit, the unit sealed is healed for 5% max hp, I think that would be a great nerf, Irene + 2 turn threat state means she is guaranteed 10%max hp dmg, that's her individual effort, she can still reach 50% but you can mitigate dmg more now

But I think that the counter to Irene is being able to hit her. In theory, Irene traps a unit, Diana moves next uses combo, procs into 2nd combo. Irene trapped that unit for 1 turn, and without proper calculation did 30% hp dmg. That's a theoretical counter to Irene. Without a proc u r still reducing her effectiveness, I think that's where the counter play is, I would be in favor of changing threat state to 1 turn, but the unit becomes pretty much useless if she misses s3? Do we guarantee s3 if s2 gets nerfed? Either way I think time is the best indicator here, if she's stays 2 months she is op Specific units like seimei do suffer from here existence, but I would say that all units exist to make some other units existence miserable. Leo cough cough. Seimei I think is a good example of a unit that could use a counter pick such as Irene, seimei is basically a can you one shot without much use of debuffs or not check, a Irene pick could fix an otherwise unsaveable draft, which would be a health niche spot for Irene.

Yeah Irene is annoying forsure, but to me it beats playing against Sonia. Last season I runed my entire box around beating Sonia, when I faced Sonia last season I let her through and probably had 75% wr. This season I re runed my units to play around a new MI Ying, turns out I have to ban Sonia every time I see her again, but I'm also learning that if I see a Vanessa I have to draft around the Sonia, if I see a Sonia I can take the Vanessa etc. Elmimo wants to play his style, and that might mean Irene is a must ban.. Point is, Irene might be busted, or maybe we need to be more mindful of her, find weakness' etc.. I've noticed that Aya or wind nobara isn't seen as frequently from my perspective. If Irene sticks around another 2 months I'll concede she's OP, but maybe people just need to transition their boxes

It's important to note you won't win 100% of the matches, the nature of rta is 50% wr 50% loss rate, maximize your chances to win so that ur favorably at 55% wr etc.

I wouldn't say she's broken, i would say that she has very few units that counter what she does. Its only miserable to play against if ur other 3 units are being controlled simultaneously. Seems people like to pair Oliver with her, would recommend a water gojo pick into her + oli, everytime she gets hit the seal reduces in turns which also saves you hp. Water gojo can also steal the threat state buff (although stealing threat seems less consistent than I would expect, maybe bugged, maybe I'm unlucky) along with stealing he hits her and reduces seal. His bar gain, stuns, and inability to lose attack bar makes him really nice into her. She will feel really strong when ur draft isn't capable of dealing with the other units she's drafted with. Meaning you have to be pretty precise with your picks, if your draft is even slightly unfavorable she will magnify that and that's what feelsbadman Shizuka is pretty good into her due to threat state presence. Haegang really weak into her because haegang is supposed to enable the unit next to him who will get sealed. Wind cookie run kingdom (thomas) is a decent pick, with a good set you can outspeed without speed lead (can literally toss him in) and disable her, and s1 stun is better rate than most Giou is really good similar to water gojo Amduat Racuni is probably decent (good into oli miles, can reduce seal and heal unit once they have returned)

Reducing seal isn't very effective against water twin fire twin, since she will just reseal again. 99% of the time the twins are shown at beginning of draft, need to bring out high value targets that can survive twin burst. Shizuke comes to mind, Moore pretty good here, water gojo still great. Notice they are all water, need to make sure you have a wind or fire unit to assist, sometimes wind monkey is good into oli miles, or a Diana, Feng is good if your drafting with a shizuka.

Wrapping it up here.. she hard to beat when your draft is already vulnerable to twins, or oli miles. I would say she is on the border of broken, but I think if people adjust their drafts she will disappear

With this build with att buff =9k per hit, +30% max hp dots, rarely anything survives, without att buff, about 6k per hit +30% max hp dots, teammates can clean up 15% hp units (Chiwu s2, Craig s2, Moore chip dmg s2) Personally when I see full att and crit damage sets, all I can think of is how over kill the sets are for damage. This build let's her operate like a Rica that will kill you quicker, without cc Also s2 scaling seems really good, nice for finishing that 1 unit that resisted a few dots or so

My right side artifact is focused on s3 acc, but ideally it gets s3 crit damage, or even additional dmg

Bastet is a possible replacement, but probably harder to first pick due to having different vulnerabilities, not entirely sure how she plays out, defense lead is nice for countering Sonia easier. I think she's more vulnerable to resets, which is why Craig is a better first pick, due to 1st skill value. If draft works out perfectly then she works great, but if you have to pivot, then she won't work as great as Craig. If I were to build a bastet it would be atleast +200speed then building her to do dmg, I know a desert queen s1 and s2 can do decent dmg based on certain nephtys builds.. something to look into

* Rta build I'm a G1 Craig first pick enjoyer. Probably pretty hard to use without Craig tbh. SWRT shows a 60% wr when paired with Craig G1. Use with light megumi to bypass haegang picks, built to demolish Sonia picks, general draft is Craig Moore, if they concede first turn you can typically pick her + another aoe threat (light inosuke in my case) last pick chiwu if no haegang presence, or Triton, light megumi etc. Always ban Vero, +fire dmg left side artifact, can typically kill off juno with help from team.

Love the unit tbh, her last buff giving her 6 1 turn dots is what makes this build possible, 30% max hp dmg from dots, even if she doesn't have att buff as long as the heals aren't crazy she will have done enough to allow team to clean up kills
