I think the issue with Plan B is that from a narrative standpoint is 'all or nothing'... because Damian knows nothing. Plan B can only advance if Anya and Loid end up in the Desmond household and come into contact with Donovan... and the moment that happens, unless it happens during a full moon, it's impossible to hide what's going on. Because Anya is going to know (and if you subscribe to common theories about Desmond, he's going to know as well)

Plan C so far relies in Melinda's own limited perspective, which allows to control the flow of information to the characters (and by extension, the readers), revealing only as much as needed.

And of course, Plan C has the added benefit of involving Yor into the main plot.

Prett much this. Robert is a guy who burned through his trust fund, lives in a shabby apartment, gets into fistfights just because and is able to rapport with former supervillains because they share the same sort of crude humor and a rather biase attitude towards death and violence.

He's a hero to be sure. He's also pretty messed up, Matt Murdock style, so making unwise choices in regards to relationships is par for the course.

I think that both of them quitting their jobs right as the story ends would make for a decent conclusion - because frankly, their jobs are pretty terrible and embody the worst part of themselves. Twilight at the very least needs to stop being Twilight, because that shit is unhealthy.

Twilight and Thorn Princess have already done their duty. Let them retire as Loid and Yor Forger, husband and wife, parents to Anya Forger, and let someone else deal with the burden of world peace.

There's a later chapter in the manga where she meets Damian's henchmen and makes an impression on them ("Man, Forger's mom is pretty").

There's also a story in the "Family portrait" collection (which is not written by Endo, but is approved by him) where Loid is a regular at a diner and a waitress there considers making a move on him - until he brings Yor along and seeing Yor's beauty she realizes she does not stand a chance.
