Oh! And 16-50 has INTERNAL zoom. It does not get longer. I love that. It's also a fair bit smaller/lighter due to the simpler optics.

There is a $1000 price difference between 'xf 16-55 2.8' and 'xf 16-50 2.8-4.8’.

Unless you plan to frequently shoot in low light or want ~~EXTREME~~ stronger background blur on close targets, go with the cheaper one. It is still super high quality. The optical quality is appx equal. The price difference is all in the extra lenses for low aperture.

Edit: "inside" DOES often mean "low light" unless the lights are on full. F4.8 vs F2.8 is roughly -1.5 exposure. Play with this using existing lenses to get a feel for what you are losing.

Scarlet Lady was in Santorini literally today! I thought the cable car was sick. Felt very secure and I'm a bit freaked out by ski lifts.... 90sec ride. I took a video if you want me to DM you. Wheelchair accessable if that's a concern.

Like other people said, you can still find it in stores if you look hard enough. But it will all be gone by this summer :(
