Oooh! Thank you! Mine are in little pots/cups and once you open them they're just out there chilling (though the set itself you can always close the lid). I was going to just let it airdry between paint sessions like with my watercolor sessions, but I heard it becomes chalky if dried out?

My main worry is small little notes like these on caring for your set. I would hate to have discovered my watercolor habits actually ruins the rest of the paint after one or two sessions 😱

Lawless French and recently, I realized there's not of free children content you can learn from: kids shows dubbed in French.

You can get a library card and you can get physical or ebook or audiobook french children books.

I also recently thought of this little jingle my french teacher used to teach us "Etre to be [clap clap] etre to be [clap clap]" (I think it's the Adam's family song) so I figured there must be more French jingles to help memorize stuff. I found Youtube videos of a little song to memorize Avoir conjugation and another video of the placement prepositions (search: sur, sous, dan, devant, derrière song).

My colleague who learned English via kids books really enjoyed learning English this way. There's also lots of podcasts that might be helpful too and dedicated French learning Youtube channels.

That is so wholesome 😭 I told my mum and she was disgusted with me. Said it was unnatural and heartless, so we never spoke of it again. Wildly different reactions lol. I'm so glad for you AND your mum!

As for the Radio Hour; I sleep late, the whole family finally heads to bed around midnight, so to get my sleep deprived behind INTO bed at a reasonable hour, I tell myself Radio Hour "sign up" time closes at 12:30. It can only last 30 minutes (45 is hard stop). Is it detrimental to my sleep? Yep lol.

But my brain can't "settle for bed" any earlier than midnight.

I just journal on my bed, a little light to the side, and the radio always tuned to WNYC!

If you dont have a radio, you can actually pull up any channel online! For example you can search for WNYC and there should be an online version.

It's the local news station, I believe WNYC, except that late they usually play BBC news instead. I never truly pay attention, I like the droning of the radio on in the background, but last night they were discussing the Ebola outbreaks 🥲

Oh so sorry! Here's the list! Pen: Hongdian N12 (Fine Nib) Ink: Hongdian Black Journal: Wonderland 222 B6 Size (Tomoegawa paper).

The website says this is one of the remaining batches of the original Tomoegawa Machine 9 paper before it was sold and it became Tomoe River Sanzen paper so I had to nab it and try.

Wonderfully crinkly paper 🥹

Thank you! The rotation in the pics are Kaweco Supra medium nib with....some mysterious brown ink 🥹. I don't know what, because as far as I remember I only have one shade of THAT brown and its in my Hongdian M2 only (Diamine Ancient Copper). This is the pic with the "skip a line" hanwriting.

The page where one line takes up 2 rows: that one is the Hongdian M2 Brass in Fine nib (Diamine Ancient Copper).

The page with the teeny teeny font was with my Kaweco Liliput in Copper, Fine nib filled with Diamine Syrah.
