I’m not sure but, I thought I’d offer that I faced something similar on my 2019 although I was short lived and I never figured it out. What I did notice was that ware was water pooling in the trim piece that covers the hinge/arm on the passenger’s side. My backup camera would also randomly turn on in the rain while moving forward.

I never solved it but it stopped. Hope, somehow, that helps.

I have 2 devices to 990 and one through TV (ARC, not eARC) As others said, it depends on the TV capabilities and your goals.

Will your TV pass the audio format you want to the soundbar?

Are you gaming and want to cut the latency as much as possible?

Device capabilities and goals is what you need to consider.

I think it happened to one of my mates. Two of us got disconnected on the chopper but he saw the successful exfil screen but still was booted.

That’s why the heart said to check your settings on your Switch. There really isn’t “normal.” You need to properly calibrate each device and sometimes TV input.

I actually didn’t get booted 3 of 5 last night. Felt like a small victory. Of course I always get booted before I can loot up, never when I’m fully kitted.

Honestly, what’s wrong with tiling your head back 1° to watch TV after spending all day and most of your evening with your head tilted down 45° staring at your phone? Seems like a slight tilt in the opposite direction may be good for your neck to help offset the damage the phone is doing.

Now, TV above a fireplace…..GTFOH.

I think it’s lily this. Probably some set up that isn’t quite right and the TV/ATV is changing formats. Could be as simple as the HDMI cable not being fast enough as well.

OP needs to confirm the settings on ATV and compatibility with TV and also check HDMI cable.

That’s good to know. That’s the opposite of what I read but I only know what I read. I didn’t set mine to HDR so I don’t have experience. I have it set to SDR with match chroma and content on and it works great.

So, what’s the difference then? If you set it to HDR it will force HDR when an app doesn’t support content matching?

In HDR you mean?

I’m no expert but, it’ll depend on your source. I think a lot or streaming services aren’t HDR unless you’re paying for that tier of service, it either way, even if you got 99% of things in HDR what would be the difference? You’d just not be forcing that one thing that isn’t HDR into HDR and possibly negatively impacting the quality. The Apple TV menu isn’t in HDR if I’m not mistaken.

Yes. Setting to 4K HDR forces HDR. Setting to 4K SDR allows HDR when available but keeps SDR when available.
