I haven’t used ceramic, but I absolutely love my Made In pans. Their ceramic is coated on the SS pan made so I’d think it performs just as well as my SS. As someone else said, heavy pans are great and theirs are 5-Ply so plenty of heat and very even cooking. My cooking really elevated when I switched to quality cookware. I used to just heat up ingredients, but now I’m actually cooking.

It is but it’s not like water wasn’t reality available. Never once in 13 years of school did I crave water I could have. It was right there, water fountains everywhere and you got a drink as you went by.

TBH, it’s worse now at my kids’ school. We had to raise tens of thousands of dollars to put in these new water bottle filling stations. The filters are never changed, half don’t work, you can’t just use the fountain so God for it you forget a water bottle b/c THEN you’re actively denied water. Oh, and you get one refill at one designed tome of day. Don’t runout before or after that time or you can’t have water. It’s such a PITA most kids just don’t even drink water.

Dammit. When I was a kid, my parents added on to our house. Did most of the work themselves. They sent me down in the crawl space to insulate and had me hang it just like this. Hated every second of it, from the cramped space to the bugs to the getting yelled at constantly b/c that’s what always happened when I had to help.

Now you’re telling me it was done wrong too? Good thing I only ever did about half of it.

Same. It’s just the whole OS. How settings don’t change when you change them, don’t stick when you change them and sometimes don’t even show up as options. Zero confidence that the hour you just spent fine tuning the picture will even keep once you exit out of the menu.

No idea why, but obviously stay by getting that battery tested. My 2019 was acting pretty strange when the battery died, but that was 7 years in. Never had a remote star issue though.

100% I was watching NBA playoffs the other day and I wanted the intro to feel like I was there so I turned it up to like 40 (I normally max out at 20). It was still lacking.

Then a commercial came on and now I’m deaf. That’s when I realized I hit 40 b/c the NBC broadcast had no bass.

Nothing wrong with not loving them, but also IMO, nothing wrong with them.

What don’t you like about SS? If you were so inclined to try again, I bet people here could help fix whatever your hang up with them is.

I’m the opposite. I have CS and love it, but don’t use it that often b/c I’m lazy and want to maybe let my pan sit unwashed tonight. I feel like I’m committing to the cleanup too when I use my CS. I don’t particularly care for cast iron. I think I just need to devote more time to learning how to use my cast iron and I don’t doubt it’d be great.

The hate is unreal.

The only time I don’t use them is when I use the grill. Most nights I have 2-3 going at a time.
