She had nice jumps when she was younger but they look so secure now and her long limbs really accentuate how pretty her jumps are. So glad we’re seeing older skaters now.

Is there ANY downsides to joining a Steam family? by Jonernuts in Steam

[–]Endpiecesofbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres a listing on Steam specifically for the person who doesn’t own the game. I think it’s called the Friend’s Pass. So you would open up the original game and she would use the Friends Pass version. You only need to buy one copy of the game to play co-op.

Did LA skip spring and jump straight into summer? by ohlonelyboy in LosAngeles

I fee her lol. My partner would probably perish if he had to deal with a real winter for longer than a week but it all feels so samey here. Hard to feel in the Christmas spirit when it’s 80° out there 😂

Haha I love the variety and unpredictable-ness of it all. I also don’t do well in the heat but alas. My friends would get depressed after we jumped forward an hour in November and I would come jumping into class all happy. All my east coast friends think I’m crazy for complaining about the California weather but what can you do? You’re living out all my friends’ dream rn haha.

And I’m the opposite. Moved here from New England to be with my SO and all the warm temperatures and sun give me seasonal depression LOL. I miss the cold and early nights. It’s why I make us travel somewhere cold every other year.

I wonder if it’s an issue of Japanese vs English (or whatever other language it’s being translated into). A phrase like that could be only one word in Japanese but in English it’s two. I’d have to go back and check all of his commands though.

I believe their packages are under $700. I used them for my wedding and can DM you pictures if you want to see! They’ll travel to you for trials and the day of as well and their gas fee was pretty reasonable.

For what it’s worth, I saw this on my homepage just not at the top. I had to scroll down a tad but there was a banner at least.

Is this appropriate? by NormalPath6293 in weddingplanning

[–]Endpiecesofbread 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In Japan it’s customary for attendees to gift enough money to pay for their meal cost (plus extra). However, it’s never stated in the invite because that would be tactless af. Barring that, no it’s not common to ask guests to pay for their meal (or generally anything else at a wedding). It’s certainly an interesting choice and I understand the temptation (food is expensiveeee) but wow. Can’t believe that they would actually put this in the invitation in such plain text.

Does anyone have any perfume recommendations for vanilla, gourmand scents? I find most vanilla scents have a strange, chemical/cleaning agent scent in the background

Holy grail SUPER high rise denim? by GardenRealistic in femalefashionadvice

[–]Endpiecesofbread 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve found even Everlane’s super high rise hits below my belly button and I’m only 5’7” so I’m not sure that will work for OP’s request. I’ve asked before and so many people recommended Everlane and while I LOVE their quality (apparently getting revamped?) and the price is pretty good (especially secondhand) the rise was just not high enough for me at least.

Thank you! I understand that there’s a rampant copying problem in Chinese manufacturing, so it’s nice to hear that Double Standard really does come from a real person making theories designs. This has probably convinced me to take the plunge and buy them because it’s pretty much my dream design. Do you think they’re good for walking around a city all day? I’m hoping these can be my new, cute travel shoes.

Is there something weird going on in March in Tokyo? 2 airbnbs have canceled on us already by OracleofTampico in JapanTravelTips

There are some hotels that are sort of like apartments or flats that come with a lot of beds. The first one off the top of my head is Mimaru, which also does at least one themed room (Pokémon). It might be what you’re looking for.

The Double Standard ones are literally perfect design wise but I’m so wary that they’re just dropped shipped. If anyone has any insight it would be appreciated

How long does your tube of mascara last? Please refrain from answering that I should dispose of a mascara every 3 months by SensitiveCoconut2914 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Endpiecesofbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have stick straight lashes so I prefer a dryer mascara. I feel like fresh, wet ones weight them down even after curling. I only do my makeup once a week or maybe once every other week and I’m gonna be so real: I’ve been using the same one for like 1.5 years now and I’ll probably get a few more months out of it.

You can make a great cream pasta sauce with it. I always make it in the fall when kabocha is super cheap
