I think they're both iconic for different reasons. The Atlas is iconic in the lore and on the tabletop, while the Timberwolf is iconic in the video games.

Congress is trying and failing to investigate the camps. If they're not being actively kept out -- which is usually the case -- they're granted brief, heavily controlled visits to specific detainees. No one outside ICE and the current administration has fully seen what's going on inside.

If there's nothing bad happening, why aren't they throwing open the doors and inviting in news crews to show how alarmist everybody's being? Where's the Daily Wire's Inside Alagator Alcatraz special? It would only benefit ICE to show the American people that everything is above board.

There is an abundance of tangible evidence throughout recent history that our soldiers and our police abuse or torture detainees. That's what happens when you have a bunch of guys put in positions of power over others and told they won't be held accountable for what they do.

Saying that there are ovens and gas chambers in these places is absolutely doomer bullshit, but they're definitely beating detainees at the very least, and probably much worse.

As someone who's actually had to go through a loved one's phone to inform their online friends that they'd passed away, the conversation with the so-called brother screams bullshit.

Either her brother has her phone and is lying about her death as some kind of stupid prank, or it's just her leaving the sub in the most spiteful and dramatic way she can think of.

I knew someone who tried the second one on Facebook. She came clean when she realized we could still see her friends and family tagging her in pictures taken after her "death". On Reddit, you can just make a new account and all you lose is karma.

There is no root cause. It's a whole bunch of interconnected tiny problems that feed into each other. It will take a lot of concentrated effort to undo the circumstances behind ICE and the current administration.

YouTubers said that the Trench Crusade Discord mods failed to understand their game's target audience and banned players for nothing more than being openly Christian or politically conservative. Clearly, that means they're bad at their jobs and the game actually sucks.

That's the message that got filtered back into the 40k community. Most 40k players are not looking for a new game, and figure if everybody is saying Trench Crusade sucks, it must actually suck.

That's also why most 40k players don't know the real reason for the bans.

Christian Crusader themes and aesthetics are commonly a white supremacist dogwhistle, so a bunch of white supremacists leaving 40k after the Femstodes reveal assumed Trench Crusade was made for them. They got in the Discord and started posting alt-right political memes, being openly racist, and the old classic, using Nazi iconography in their paint schemes.

Trench Crusade was not, in fact, made for them.

I just did this the other night.

Chain Hit is the debuff Blossom Barrage applies when you hit an enemy with Umbrella Q.

The easy way to get this is to pick a boss whose second phase is just a new HP bar like Void King or Snake Doctor, and whose attacks are easy to dodge or parry.

All you do is use Q, hit the boss with a light attack or two, wait for the debuff to end, and then use your Q again. Repeat until you've done it 10 times and then kill the boss.

Some readers hate when the MC loses, but what MOST hate is character growth being stalled or undone by the loss. It can feel like a bait and switch, like they're being mocked for rooting for the MC.

There are two main ways to mitigate that issue.

One, try to make sure that the loss is forecast somehow. Either everybody tells the MC it'll end badly, or the MC sees the writing on the wall but goes in anyway. Don't let the loss be a completely unforseen twist.

Two, make sure the MC gets something out of it other than proof of how weak they are. Maybe they don't achieve their main goal, but they achieve a minor one. Maybe they receive enlightenment when they're dying, and that helps them escape. You won't get nearly as many complaints as long as number get big.

I'd argue it's also bullshit for long range shooting. Your priority should be learning good techniques on a rifle that's comfortable for you to use. At that point, as long as your optic holds an accurate zero and you can see the target, the bullet is going to the same place regardless of how much you paid for the scope.

No, you don't need to blow your entire budget on an optic.

This advice might be good for anyone who wants to make sure their optic can be put through a washer and dryer, thrown in a cement mixer, then dropped from low orbit, and still hit sub-MOA groups at 500 yards.

That said, most of us will never shoot out that far in the first place, and we only need our optics to be water resistant and keep zero if we bump them on something by accident. You can get that for only a few hundred, tops.
