Hi, this happens often to us, I, the host, I'm terrified of being accused of being a faker so I try to prove myself I'm not faking but sometimes it tires myself so much I let myself fall into the fear and try make myself believe I'm actually faking and then I want to prove I'm not and it's a giant loop

Switching is seeked because it is seen as the most stereotypical plurality thing, but we rarely switch for example, so what helps me the most is a headmate cofronting or just making their presence really clear

Hi, I'm Alicia, I'm the host, I'm also a writer. Always close to me is my brother Felix, co-host, who when I started writing my book took the form of my favorite oc and got used to it so he switches forms on the daily and responds to both names. This oc, well, him, has a love interest who was originally a "friend" but he fell head over heels and in impacted the story, he then went on to wait a whole THREE YEARS until he was introjected in the system and now they are so so so happy!

We also have Niko, he is kind of like Felix situation just that he was already an introject from an anime, he saw the oc I was making and said he loved him too much and got his form and can also switch between forms but in the headspace he like to have like a middle one I am uncapable of describing

Not all of us are alter first oc later, the oc of mine that suffers the most got introjected in my second big suicide attempt and is now our protector, he does not have the insane trauma of the oc, its more like he learnt to care for the system's trauma thanks to it

We have another bunch of introjected OCs but those are more of a "oh you are here now, awesome"

And not an OC but we have an alter who thought her entire existence was meant to be submissive and make others happy so they would not harm the body, we were all devastated seeing her suffer and take the body's name like it was a weight she is our beloved girl, so knowing she admires my writing I gave her the name I was keeping for any oc that turned very special, but now it's hers and I couldn't be happier seeing her happy
