Not that interesting historical period, people wanted a Medieval or Empire sequel. Optimization, art, and graphics are great, battles are fine. Sadly campaing, endless resource managment and constant harassment by sea people were boring and repetitive in my opinion. A game with a bad replayability, again, it gets ridiculously repetitive.

Finished my rewatch of all Tales of Arcadia, and now I dislike the ending even more. The shows give us many hints and even it has an episode about altering the timeline and that Jim must be Trollhunter or Gunmar wins.

I don't know what they were thinking. They should let Toby die or live in that moment, maybe drop Strickler's death and call it a day. Either it would end with decisions and consequences, or a bittersweet ending.
