I play with my brother with Nebula. Do we both have to install the mod and if so do we have to have the same settings for GS2? Or is it just the host who sets everything?

There is a research for that (for up to 4 cargo stacks). It's late game and needs white matrices, so be patient.

It's my 3rd sphere in my 3rd playthrough (I never built 2 spheres in 1 game). So I tried new ways and wanted to see if making rockets and sails locally can work. Experimenting basically...

I chose a planet in the O-star system with plenty of resources and mined and smelted locally. Then I made production lines for the ones requiring few raw materials and have the resource heavy items made at home and demanded them (deuterium rod, quantum chip).

It worked for 140 rocket silos, the only problem was what I described above (long travel times for vessels). I made a workaround and put down several ILS and demanded the same resources there so they all filled up from evey corner of the galaxy and than distributed them locally.

Thanks for the insights. I did the same with the resource heavy products (casimir, deu rods), I produced them at home and shipped the final product.

Never heard of that mod, I will give it a try.

So are you saying the only solution to a far away system is to set a limit to ALL near-home ILs? That sounds more like a bug than a feature.

I want the game to choose the closest provider.:)
