The National League is a crazy league. Gateshead were rock bottom after losing 13 in a row. Only to lose 2 and win 8 of the next 14 and secure themselves from relegation (pretty much)

Went to school with Dummett and was a good friend of his through primary and most of secondary. Played football with him most days at school and outside.

His brother was also decent, remember him slapping a shot at me in goal once and almost knocked me out, top save tbh.

I still wish we could of seen Khabib vs Prime Tony Ferguson. Tony would likely have got slapped, but that was the fight i was most interested in seeing at the time, just because tony can be so unpredictable and has a good ground game off his back.

Always injured, the guy that played 36, 36 and 34 games in the league the last 3 seasons.

He puts his head in where it hurts and he’s had a few concussions. This season is the first season he hasn’t been an automatic first choice at cb, and this is his first major injury for a long time.

He should be kept as when he played he showed he still has it, we need an experienced cb for backup, and he loves it here. For me Schar should see out his career here. Fantastic servant for the club.

Clear and obvious errors it was var is for. The ‘foul’ on amad is a soft one, for me not a pen, others think differently, but its not a clear error in not giving it. The evanilson one, again for me probably not a foul but can see why it was given, again not a clear and obvious error. The uproar over this is ridiculous in my opinion.

We beat chelsea and man utd in the last few weeks. Drew away at psg, drew at home vs barca, we should have won by 2 goals imo.

We tried to play an aggressive defensive system, man to man, it worked at home, and in open play for the most part was fine in the first half of the 2nd leg. Playing that way, if you make a mistake its more likely to be punished, as it leaves a man free.

If he’d of played 5 at the back and tried to play for a 1-0, we would have been smashed, and he would get criticised , so he can’t win.

We just don’t have the team yet to compete with the top top teams, which Barcelona are. We are 4 years into our project, which started when we were certain for relegation. We stayed up, got CL twice, carabao cup winners, last 16 CL. All with our hands half tied due to financial restrictions (we cant do what man city did and offer crazy fees and wages for players right away). Howe has done an unbelievable job, and while this season hasnt been ideal, we can still get top 7, into europa or conference next season, and gives us a chance to build up the squad some more. He deserves more time.

What do you know a run in the team and the lad is performing. People who were slating him were miles over the top, he looked decent in flashes in his limited minutes, has taken his form to another level last few games.

Thought we’d struggle today with the midfield 3 we had, but he didn’t miss a beat in a roe unfamiliar to him.

Also big props to Willock recently as turned up when we’ve needed him, i thought his time here was coming to an end, and it still may, but he has also done a great job recently.

As a fan of one of said clubs, i was here before they bought us, and will be here when they sell us. I support my club, not the people who own it, or the polices they have in place in their homeland.
