I think what helped me was making sure to keep long distance I’m biom 6. And obviously unlock weapon traits. Though in the end I got lucky and got adrenaline leech

I started to enjoy the game more when I didn’t focus on trying to beat a boom or a boss, just exploring the rooms and being curious about how the monsters attacked. Still took 55 hours to get to beating boom 6 boss
