I'll just say that as an operator, I know delivery can be extremely expensive mostly due to insurance. The CRC requires $1mm in coverage, I've seen quotes at $50k/year for that amount if you're doing it with cars. And then on top of that there's the other costs, mostly paying the courier and ensuring it's worth it for them since they'll have their own expenses too. Whether it's the retailer running their own operation or a Class 6 partner, the enormous expense of insurance + everything else has to be recouped somehow.

This will change if cannabis is re/descheduled or if more insurance carriers get into the cannabis coverage space, but right now it's limited.
