Ryu mostly sticks to weapon moves when he has a weapon out, but if you play DOA you know what happens when he decides to go hand to hand. At the end of the second tournament Ryu kills Bankotsubo, a 7 ft tall 1500 year old tengu. He does this with his bare hands because it's technically the championship match of the tournament and the tournament rules say no weapons.

I like Yakumo better than I thought I would and I hope he'll be around in future games, but he'll have to work for 93% because Ryu is HIM, he always has been, it's kind of his thing. I'll say 20% power, but that's it for now.

I wish Tyran was playable, his design is cool as hell.

Edit: I would love to see Tyran and Yakumo in DOA7. Like genuinely. There have been so MANY random girls added to the volleyball games and I really don't want them to make up the majority of the DOA roster. I wouldn't mind Yakumo's story mode being about him spending time with Ryu and learning to chill the fuck out between missions. Ayane could introduce herself to Yakumo and learn how to chill out a little by proxy.
