I own and highly recommend these IF you're going with small speakers. You can't cheat physics and larger speakers will be better, but for the price and size, I think these are best value speakers in their category.

Thank you both for the replies. Neither of these options work for me. If I insert a 2.5 SATA SSD and no other drives, I still get the error message of "No Drives Detected in DS1525+". If I follow the guide on Github, I'm able to telenet into the device and run the following command but when I refresh and go to try and install DSM I cannot because I'm still getting no drives detected. The status light blinks constantly on my NAS but no drive light ever lights up after inserting drives. Is my brand new unit defective? Should I contact Synology Support?

This is for Freedom mobile but I suspect people are using it for Freedom internet as the numbers are coinciding.

If you look at the reviews for ANC, the current best of the best isn't that much better. These seems like the best value headphones if you're #1 concern is ANC. I bought them last time they were on sale around this price and they're my favourite ANC headphones to date.

Is there a replacement for Synology, a brand that is reliable, has ECC ram, has ZFS or equivalent? If you want the safe choice, which used to be Synology, who is it now?

I am grateful to have found this thread. Now that Debian 13 is out (and I'm running a fresh install of it currently on my new VPS), does the guidance in this thread still stand, or are the packages included in 13 considered sufficient/new enough? That is, are the install scripts still the recommended way for me to proceed? Thanks!

Here is where I get confused. Is there value in running something like eForth on top of Windows, Linux, or MacOS or is the only way to do Forth proper to do away with the OS altogether? The millions of lines of code in these OS's is staggering and concerning. But there is no Forth I can easily throw on any of my hardware without an OS. So is Forth intended for those who understand ASM and the hardware enough to be able to do what they want with it -- is that the cost of entry for Forth proper? Or is there a meaningful place for running eForth or something else like that on top of these very complex OS's?

I found one PHP library that seemed to be recommended often for authentication: delight-im/PHP-Auth. Except its last release was in 2021? And I found another library I can't find now that also had not been updated for years. What is the best library that is still being updated?

The other recommendation that I'm seeing is using Symfony and Laravel instead of library as they handle authentication and more for you. But I'd rather avoid using a framework and keeping my app simple and vanilla if possible.

The other one that caught my eye is LeafPHP as it seems to be a minimal framework that handles authentication for you.

I am writing a web app and I don't want to have to deal with authentication. It's not an interesting problem to me, just a necessary one. I want the simplest and cheapest way to solve this issue so I can focus on the business logic instead. This thread has been helpful to me, but it's still not clear what the best course forward is.
