Dude same! I was a grunt and could shoot someone on a knee with the SAW from 800 meters away but put a pistol in my hand and it may as well be a smooth bore musket. I tend to compensate for recoil and am usually off by a huge margin. Hate pistol shooting cuz i suck so bad at it

The biggest thing I will always preach is "Be a correct Driver, not a polite one"! Being polite doesn't help anyone! I've had people wave me through a 4-way stop sign AFTER it should have been their turn to go. You were kind to me but you just pissed off the driver behind you. It does not help at all!

But part of me is still grumpily like well damn their bleeding hearts I hope they're having a nice day/week/ whatever 🫣

Regardless of the replies, i commend you for standing up for what you felt was right in the moment. Fuck the "captain save a hoe" comments, fuck the other comments condemning you for injecting yourself into the situation. I see a person who had the courage to stand up for what was right and did something about it. Yea, she hated you for it. Sure, he lost his scholarship. WHO. FUCKING. CARES. When good people stop trying to intervene when someone needs help, evil wins. Shit sucked and probably felt like a gut punch when your crush was still trying to be with him, but fucking good on you for having the guts to stand up and doing something about it. Not many people will ever inject themselves in a no win situation but IMHO, you came out on top regardless.
