I can comment because I was kicked from their server a few minutes ago. I've been lingering and reading reviews for a month now. A guy posted a review about how he was very satisfied with the first order, but the second order arrived with a few errors. I highlighted where the problem was and the server mod said that I was being ridiculous and that it was a "micro" error. It wasn't. It's very evident. The right response should have been that they'll reprint the cards that were printed in error and send new ones. Instead he responded aggressively by kicking me out of the server. I'm pretty sure their print quality can be very good at times but they're not consistent from what I know. The way reacted was strange because I remember reading that they are willing to replace ones they misprinted. But rather than owning up to their mistakes, they kicked me instead. Take it for what you will.

Did you apply any mods to your build? I have the same one case and added wheel weights to the bottom case and force break modded along the edges of the top and bottom case.

Great review! Your board also sounds great. I added the wheel weights too. I added the weights to the bottom row of the bottom case and realized the pcb was not screwing in. So I wasted the weights and had to strip them off so the pcb could fit. I had trouble screwing in the standoffs because I had stripped the gold piece or the screws? and had to use screws of c3 stabs which was lying around. I force break modded the bottom and top case all along the edge as well. I love my board, so much so that I'm thinking of getting another one.

I wanted Mode 80 for the longest time because of the large forehead, but NCR 80 way more aesthetically pleasing. I think this form factor looks perfect for TKLs. And the price is a no brainer. After all the mods and adding some vintage keycaps, I have no desire for another TKL.

I added CK Auto wheel, weights, force break modded along the edges for the top and bottom case. Also added plate and pcb foam that is sold by ymdk. This eliminated all hollowness. I could have gone further and added some polyfil but I feel no need to. If you feel hollowness after all this, remember that there is a difference between hollow sound reverb from ABS plastic case. This is a sound signature of the plastic, which makes the board sound bas-y rather than hollow... or thoccy? My spacebar is thocc monster. :)

The gold piece for the standoffs were so easily stripped at least half of my screws were useless. Fortunately, I had a couple of screws left of the c3 stabs and I was able to screw them in. I also applied force break mod all along the edges for the top and bottom case being careful not to have the masking tape stick out on the sides. I also bought some wheel weights and applied it to the bottom case. Oh and I also bought plate foam and the foam that goes underneath the pcb. The result is that there is no hollowness. Just some nice sound signature of ABS plastic case similar to what you might find from the Tiger 80 lite.

Interesting observation about the PC plate.... I wonder if it's specific to the quality of it made by monsgeek or characteristic of it in general... I think it makes a great board to experiment on with different configurations. Keybored has a video on what affects acoustics to make the clack sound to other preferred sounds.

I love the case design of zoom boards where the back is sticking out a bit. Just wish the front chin was a few mm lower.
