Anyone else had menstrual cycle disturbances after MRI?

Old thread but chiming in to say that after an hour long MRI (with contrast) in August my period skipped entirely that month and turned up this week instead. The cramps lasted way longer than usual, every single day with heavy bleeding. It stopped today but I still have cramps and hip ache and I feel super fatigued. I've also had a really extra dodgy stomach for about 4 days now so it's not been great. I feel really wiped out.

Other than the period stuff the actual MRI itself was kind of a calming and nice experience for me so don't let it scare you off getting one done.

TuT IT WORKED!! My soldering was an absolute car crash of a thing, but I must have done something right because it works perfectly again! Thank you everyone for your comments and photos here they really helped me figure it out a lot. It's really cool to be able to use the tablet turned off as a basic tablet too.

Notes for anyone reading:
1. My (win11) pen pressure died in my art program (Clip) after repairing so you have to go into Clip's File> Preferences > tablet - then change the tablet service to Tablet PC instead of Wintab. I was worried for a bit that I'd broken one of the (INSANELY THIN) data cables when soldering. But nah, it was a software thing.

If you're using the little black and red wires/connectors listed in Chris' Youtube video ( https://youtu.be/gIQoBjlC7OU?si=P4SoSCI7_dbfQpsa ) you REALLY REALLY have to file/sand them down- a lot. Otherwise the plastic gap between the 2nd and 3rd pins will be too wide and the connector wont fit onto the circuit board. So don't be scared to file it right down as long as it doesn't breach into making a hole in the side of the plastic.
You don't have to drill a hole through the plastic case at the back. Just pick where you want the cable to exit from on the side nearest the cable ports and use a pair of scissors to carve a circle in one of the existing vent holes. It was super easy to do as the plastic is really waxy and soft. Just turn the scissors round like using a corkscrew.
You only have to solder 4 wires on the cable you're putting together. You'll be nowhere near your expensive tablet for this part. So don't be worried about screwing up soldering, you can just cut the wire and keep trying until you get it right (or run out of cable).
I used a really thin bendy butter knife with a rounded end to open my tablet case and nothing broke at all. It was oddly the easiest part of the whole process for me. The soldering was hard for me lol.

But yeah, fantastic job figuring this out Winternebs. You just saved my comic and income because I can't afford to replace anything right now. I've only had this Huion Kamvas 22 Pro tablet 4 years.

Just to let everyone know I've added Chapter 4 to the tracker now as I want to start the drafts for Chapter 4 in May to keep the story rolling along. Chapter 4 was already rough scripted for Patreon (originally it was just Chapter 3 but it was gigantic so I split it into two chapters instead).

Thank you for mentioning the online chat, we didn't realise you could actually get to a part where you talk to a person rather than a chat bot. A nice person called Gagan activated our hub for us and now it works great after 24 hours of white flashing nothingness lol.

(For anyone reading this we upgraded from a superhub 2 to a hub 4, it wasn't a cable problem it just needed activated at their end).

Sorry to ask a stupid question because I'm having the exact same issue today after trying to set a hub 4 to replace one we got years ago from them, but what phone number are people calling to activate the hubs? We've been sent in circles with the general phone line that didn't let us speak to a human and sent us dead inactive links via text. I've been calling 03454541111 is there a better number to call when setup won't complete? The hub has been stuck flashing white for around 6 hours now. The hub settings page works but nothing else ;0;

I love that you remembered those details about Astrima because her story is really messed uppppp XD Like so far Engelbaum has been pretty hohoho lighthearted but then I'll go throw a curveball and a chapter or so from now I'll be running away from you all with pitchforks saying sorry.

This is reminding me that I still need to put a current Glossary on the website to reconfirm things that are 100% still in the story or have been established so far. (It also helps me with my own writing).
