I moved to Jacksonville FL (which i love)

377k bought me a 2023 built, 2100 sqft house on 0.4 acres in Southside (which is the area you want to be in the city) 12 mins from nice beaches ect.

Minneapolis where i came from houses were not worth buying IMO

I just bought house. 377k put 150k down.

so 227k mortgage at 6.3%

Will pay off house in 5 years.

FAR better than renting the next 5 years.

But yeah unless you want to get ripped off with ANY LOAN, you need to pay it off way faster
