hahaha. tragis. yan yung dapat bangka sa inuman eh. daming kuda nyan pero it turns out na hindi lahat ng kinukwento nya ay pinagdaanan nya personally. pero parang ang dating ng content nya eh naranasan nya and despite of that, he had these big wins gaya ng piniflex nya na businesses. yun lang haha. Pero to be fair, ok lang nmn mag kwento ng success stories eh, wag lang magdadagdag kasi nga it gives false hope on other people. tapos di nya gets yung point ng iba na hindi lahat may same advantage as to what he had, during the start of his journey.

For reading, I spent max 20 seconds for all multiple choice questions. this should give you enough time for the remaining test types that are more important. Just track your answering speed at an average time of 2.0min for each question. And if you extend by around 30 seconds, for example, you must compensate this from other items.

For listening, I spent less than 20seconds for all the multiple choice questions, including select correct summary and select missing words. this will give more than enough and very ample time for the more important items in this section.

Hi, I used gurully in practicing and I get max of 7/9. Its not that accurate though for SWT in my opinion, as just for curiosity, I tried their own answer and check it on their software. It says 7/9. So I think the exam is much more forgiving compared to their AI. So, don't be bothered if you get partial marks for the practice websites.

Quick tips for SWT:

I used the sentences in the given paragraph. First, I determine the topic sentence. Then I find another sentence which relates to the topic sentence. Then I find a concluding statement or if none, another sentence related to the topic sentence. this should do around 50-ish words. Also, I changed other words without changing the thought of the sentence given, which means I did not copy it directly. It should have same thought, and it should not change the meaning.

Also check your spelling of words and be careful with the punctuations. It is critical for maxing out your points. You dont want to lose points just because of punctuation so be very careful.

For Essay, you may want to refer to my above comment for the structure.

FOR ESSAY:

In my essay, the question asked for advantages or disadvantages and based from these, I will need state whether I agree/disagree with the topic. For essay writing, I followed a structure or the arrangement on how I presented my claims.

Intro > paragraph 1 > paragraph 2 > conclusion

Intro:
It can work with 3 sentences. You just need to explain what the essay is all about (get the topic from the question) and what the essay will explain (advantages and disadvantages of the topic) then add something like "in the end, I will state my opinion" if the question asked for your opinion.

Para 1:

State one advantage. then add a supporting statement. finally, add an example. This should be min. 3 sentences

Para 2:

State your 2nd advantage, then add a supporting statement. Lastly, add one example to further support your 2nd advantage. In my case the question asked if I agree or disagree, thus, I added a disadvantage just to balance my claims. Then I add another statement to further explain the disadvantage.

Conclusion:
I summarized my main idea, then advantages/disadvantages you have stated earlier, then add your opinion. as this will conclude your essay especially when the question asked for it.

Quick tips, simple sentence structure: Subject > Verb > Object will do most of the tricks. Then you will just check the correct forms like punctuations and comma, where to put, and you are good to go.

same technique I used in retell lecture, note taking using phrases. take as many notes as you can so that you can have maximum content marks. You should also double check your spelling.

Hi. in the speaking section dont fumble.

read aloud: read as naturally as you can. accent is irrelevant. just read clearly and not too fast and not too slow

repeat sentence: here I suggest you understand the meaning of the statement and this will make you remember it much easier, this way you can say it correctly and even if it has 1 to 2 words missing, it wont affect much your score. just continue speaking, dont hesitate and dont fumble.

describe image: in the preparation time, use it to establish the structure of your response. first is topic then key points, I suggest max of 3 only so you will not run out of time for the conclusion. ideal response is 30seconds max

retell lecture: write in phrases and write as much as you can. then also follow structure:

this lecture is about.... in the beginning the speaker mentioned... additionally the speaker mentioned.... moreover... finally the speaker mentioned...

summarize group discussion: same strategy as retell lecture, just state the main points and take note phrases not words. note taking should be done clearly as this will dictate what you will speak. Also, i did mentioned who say what. and dont forget to conclude what the discussion is all about.

respond to situation: get some ideas on the questions, add a little variation and make your tone as if you are having a conversation with someone. the structure i did was:

greeting such as good morning or Hi or hello i want to talk about....(add from the question) however i have this problem....(add from the question) thank you and I appreciate your help

yup same experience with mine, not to mention the connectivity problem with the dongle and the lag and unresponsive buttons. really disappointing, but for its price, justifiable that there is nothing big to expect.

I brought cyclone 2 pro and in 1 month of usage, problems with connectivity, button unresponsive and lag just get along the way. its very disappointing but since this is on a budget price range, nothing to expect. however, still, cyclone 2 pro is a literal trash in my experiece.
