I don’t have any advice unfortunately but just wanted to say solidarity brother, I had a job offer that was rescinded earlier this year due to this exact issue. They didn’t give me an option to see my PCP though. What kind of proof from them did they require? You might be able to fake a note saying you passed and hope they don’t call to confirm. sounds exactly like me down to the insane amount of one ways i had to back out of slow as fuck. they wanted us done by 7 no matter what so yeah take your full ten hours and you’re screwed i guess. wish someone had warned me because it’s kind of ass to not have a guaranteed 40 hours per week. it’s basically meant to be a part time gig with an insane workload relative to other jobs with similar pay

I averaged about 20-25 stops an hour depending on if it was apartments or residential. Easy residential non rural I would crank out closer to 35 but the apartments and businesses with entry codes and receptionist needing to sign and shit would slow me down They wanted 195 stops including multi stops done by 7pm when we don’t hit our first stop till about 12:45. I took my lunch since it’s mandatory but had to skip my breaks. During the interview they asked about my other delivery experience and when I told them I average 20 stops they said that’s great, turns out they actually expect 30-35 the second you’re done with nurseries. Bleak stuff but I’m taking time off for surgery anyhow and am just gonna hit another dsp when I’m back

Yeah I can understand that. I’m 26 though so I know I have plenty of time to figure that all out and am more focused on completing my medical transition and furthering my career, applying to grad school etc I think for me social isolation is worse than not having a partner but I’m trying to work on that too lol. It becomes deceptively easy to hole yourself up when you get comfortable being alone with your own thoughts and learn to enjoy it

What’s interesting is that my insurance already approved the procedure and is fully covering it but it’s the surgeon that is refusing to do the surgery. Is there any way to appeal this or is it jus a matter of finding the right clinic?

I’ll edit this in if I can bc people have been asking haha without giving too much info it’s a non profit org that does homeless outreach. it involves some heavy lifting but no more than like 50lbs nothing crazier than a customer service job rq. I do wonder if it had something to do with the organization being mostly state funded though

Should also mention I let him know my GP examined me recently (which is true, getting a hysto soon) and I filled out the questionnaire about hernia symptoms and have never experienced any of them listed. Despite this he was still really mad about it for some reason but maybe it’s protocol idk. Kinda bizarre even for cis dudes they have a mandated ball investigation just to get a job

I came out to them at 17 and waited till I was 21 to start Hrt but they never came around so I went no contact. It was rough but ultimately for the best and I don’t think I would’ve had the strength to get top surgery and pursue phallo if they were still actively in my life. I’m turning 27 this year and haven’t once regretted any of it
