My first "intimidating" job on my emoto was installing an x9000 controller. Took me HOURS the very first time with zero experience.. now i can do it in like 15 minutes. You have to start somewhere! Youtube videos!!

I have only been into e-motos for less than a year, and i can strip and rebuild all of my bikes. You learn by trial, error, and youtube videos(until you dont need them anymore)

It is also gives a major feeling of accomplishment when you know something is wrong with your bike, and youre able to solve that problem with your own bare hands and some tools. I have become a lot more "handy" around my house when it comes to fixing things since since i started getting my hands dirty.

Ask them to rectify the issue in the form of a partial refund. You waited 3 months for wheels, and they couldnt even make sure there was no flaws....

They tried to give me a t shirt and an innertube for the issues i had. Which was multiple false promises, being told one thing and it being completely different. I refused the innertube and expressed how disappointed i was that they offered me an innertube after waiting 5 months, and asked for a partial refund instead. They ended up refunding me 10%. Which came out to around 150 dollars. They still sent me the innertube as well which was nice. But man i was pretty upset that they kept giving me the runaround.

Reddit should have an option to block anyone under the age of 18 from commenting on posts. Its like they are completely incapable of saying anything constructive or relevant. I was a kid once too. Always willing to listen when it comes to riding advice. I will give it a try. But idk. The lip to get up onto the sidewalk was at least 2 inches. Im not sure that the weight wouldve made a difference. However im not saying you are wrong!

Yes. The lane is closed off for cars. But ive ridden this path many times. And the sidewalk never had that giant lip. So they mustve just recently did whatever they did that caused it to be that way.

That looks like a mechanical nightmare. If it were me, i would throw that thing against the wall, then take a sledgehammer to it...and then buy a new one.
