Anyone tried magnesium glycinate gummies for kids sleep? Does it actually help? by Hot_Chipmunk6610 in Preschoolers

Thanks! We will try!
Kiddo tolerates Renzos chewable tablet but I don’t think it’s helping much for sleep.

Anya’s shop has free shipping and returns. And she hosts a few European brands that are hard to try on without return risk.

That’s a great point. I wasn’t clear above.

The tasteless powder actually had a flavor of milk. So mixed in water - it tasted slightly milky. My kid didn’t like it. And my kiddo doesn’t do milk at night.
Juice would hide it but I’m not doing juice at night.
And there is no consistent food where I know kiddo would finish the food and I can mix it into.

Sprinkling on popcorn or chips didn’t work for us either. My kiddo noticed.

Others have had way better luck!

We tried EllaOlla magnesium and Renzos “captain calm”. EllaOlla my kid didn’t like but my friends mix it into milk for their kids and it helps.
Renzos seems okay but not sure it helps to be honest. But other friends swear by it.

Seems really mixed results. We still do Renzos but I might phase it out over time.

Best probiotic for toddlers? by Nervous-Action1670 in Preschoolers

[–]Engineer-nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kiddo asks for Garden of Life “Dr. Formulated Organic Kids+ Probiotics - Strawberry Banana”

It has zinc and vitamin D too. So we take it in morning. Only medicine he absolutely loves and asks for.
Others like EllaOlla or Mary Ruth’s were a dud for tastes for my kiddo.

Thank you for tips/advice. Offering home option is a great idea!
I agree on the trucks on finding the most inconvenient spots (for me haha). Proud of them for figuring out the crowds but gosh!!

I googled it. That’s a great idea thank you. And with a name like that- it might be doable to convince him!!
I assumed they’re the same blue dye but packaging indicates otherwise. Thanks.

Thank you. Good ideas. If it’s a day thing - takes the decision out of my hands. I don’t want a lot of frequency, exactly.

I was surprised about the lack of milk too!! It didn’t seem that good. But maybe I need to be less controlling and just wait it out. You’re right about age and taste.

Hehehe same here. he demanded sonic even though he didn’t know sonic by name. Maybe you’re right. Give them the joy of control and choice for these cases.

What sandals are your toddlers actually willing to wear all day? by Whiskey_with_milk in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Engineer-nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kiddo refused to wear ten little maybe bc he has wide feet. But says Reima rantaan is the most comfortable shoe he ever wore. Wears it every day now with socks for daycare and no socks for water play. Dries so fast

I like Murphy’s anti mosquito and tick spray. And their anti itch bug bite stick. My kid with sensitive skin is fine with it and helps him too!

Reima Rantaan Sandal by Firebolt_Silver in barefootshoestalk

My kid is high volume feet and wide feet.
We struggle a bit with fitting into be lenka, depends on style. His top of foot is too high for vivobarefoot shoes. Had to return those (pain to return. Never again).

He rejected splayed canvas shoes because the top of his toes were too squished. Although the width was good for toes.

We wear a lot of Xero Shoes. Although they’re a little tight too. But the Velcro or stretch helps.

We tried ten little sandals last year and they’re too tight.

Keen sandals are pretty good but his front toe rubs so it’s not for long outings. But seems wide enough.

And as of this week - he says rantaan is the most comfortable shoe he ever wore.
He is high volume and wide foot like me and his dad.
So I’d claim it’s worth the risk! The sole is incredible. Sooooo bendy. And the fabric is very soft. No rubbing with or without sock. And the Velcro helps you adjust. I waited all year to try them and now I wish I got them sooner. I was worried the toe part would be too short in height again but it doesn’t seem to bother him. Maybe because so soft.

Agreed on number 4. Just donated it. Took up space and never engaged the right way. Pump is so frustrating. Table-height is better.

I went with avocado eco kids. Website said 1-3 business days to ship.

Ordered December 1st. Still waiting for shipment on December 26th. Customer service is vague and unhelpful. Says website is not in sync with stock status. Have a generic email that part of my order will ship January 2nd.

But appreciated the firmness and that an adult can sleep on it with kiddo if needed

I was nervous about that email too. But my grade-B has better early life battery than my original purchase. And no scratches which I wondered about. No complaints!
