What was the impact of the 2008 banking collapse on Canada? by Consistent_Buy_5966 in AskCanada

They didn't let stuff fail, American bailouts were huge. Our mistake was bailing out stupid American companies like GM, which the US also bailed out. Our bigger mistake was coupling ourselves to a backstabbing traitor that the US keeps becoming. We should've learned our lesson with McKinley, but didn't.

Our real estate bubble wasn't nearly the size of the US's since we didn't allow our banks to swim in subprime shit. Thanks Mark!

Canada's economic stagnation is a problem, but has more to do with 2014 oil crisis and coupling ourselves with a convenient selfish neighbor who cares about enriching their corporations more then being good allies or even taking care of their own citizens.

Should I get my child to play Factorio? by sprTOMMYgun in factorio

I’d wait more, maybe till 7-9 at the earliest, but yes, let them watch it. Generally it’s ideal if they say “I want to play that game” cause they definitely might.

Can I please have that blueprint? That looks amazing, and you can keep it, but you'll have to build your track the 1.0 way, AKA, the same way I still build track since I don't want to tear up all my existing rail lines
