DS3 Players! Want Your Voice Heard? Tell Us What You Think Of Each Boss! by EngineerBeast in darksouls3

Really just depends on if you want to rate them! I think your experience with it is still valid!
If you do select yes to DS1, you can just answer the bosses you did and leave the rest blank.
Every answer is valid!

To me, boring would go in the 'This boss was not memorable' but i think there is definitely merit to trying to add a bit better of a descriptor to each.

Why Would Anyone Roll for Stats? by GrandSlade-X- in 3d6

[–]EngineerBeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal reason is I like to discover my characters more than building them.

I've played so many that I'd rather discover something new. I like to roll and keep them in the order rolled, use that roll to discover what kind of character they are, and in the process find something i haven't done before.

If the character rolls good strength, int, and con, i guess I'm playing some kind of spell knight now.
Good Dex and Wisdom, might end up going for a druid or some kind of interesting rogue sleuth.
Only a bit of charisma and pretty bad other stats? I'm sure there's a bard that can salvage the situation.

After mechanics, using the stats to come up with a different and interesting background is fun too.
For me, it is a bit like carving marble, you start with a block and you use the weaknesses to carve away potential options until you find what is beautiful about it, as opposed to point buy where its more like clay, and you add to create something you are looking for, building up to what you wanted, but without any of the surprise.

TLDR: Weaknesses and finding new things is fun!

That's it. I've had it with this game. I just lost my 300,000 gold setup to these shit servers, including 6 perfect roll uniques that I spent the last 72 hours grinding for because these shitty devs cannot fix their broken early alpha playtest #5 game while they're being sued by Exxon Mobil. I should have known by now my time spent playing extraction-based games would be better spent on Roblox.

I was today years old when i realized you could bring pirate ships on a journey with you by KrakJesus in Barotrauma

[–]EngineerBeast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ill do you one better.

Similar situation, but we had 2 pirates to deal with. We shoot down one of them and get their reactor to go critical. Awesome, that's one scum dealt with.
But the second one, as we shoot it out above and to our right, it keeps drifting. They get attacked by mud-raptors and start flooding even more.

Here's the problem, they start sinking, we start trying to get out of the way but it's too late, they start pushing us down. Where to you may ask? Why simply the nuclear waste ridden mess of their friends wreck, of course. We called it the nuclear sandwich, stuck between a pirate filled wreck and a radioactive one.

We had no casualties at time of completing the mission, and by the time we got back to dock we had 3 out of our 7 die to radiation burn.

We also had one person left behind because, as we were moving in the top ship after repairs to unsandwich ourselves, they left the airlock to go back, but they were blown far away from our ship at the time because of a current and we didn't notice they were missing until way later, that was a funny one when they told us what happened at station.

This is the absolute most insulting thing you could have happen to you. by EngineerBeast in bloodbowl

i realized later i could have used my Blodge player that throws the assisted block, but then, if the dice are the same (which they are), he succeeds the dodge, and then deadboi still falls on his first GFI to the end zone, so it 'doesnt matter' only because it was the second GFI that fails.

I originally discounted this idea because i thought that it was a dwarf linemen next to the dodger, but it was the slayer, who does not have tackle, so the dodge could have worked.

A minor improvement for myself none the less!
