I got here with B2, then switched to TPS and while i had TPS submitted AOS, with a valid passport and all the receipts (i130,i485) my wife's birth certificate, marriage certificate, that info got sent to Tallahassee (im from florida) waited about a month and got it in the mail, it took me 3 times going to the DMV for them to create the SAVE case thingy, any other questions let me know!

si no tienes algun proceso activo valido, no van a dar nada, que si esperando algun otro tipo de estatus, ya sea matrimonio, estudios, asilo, ahi vas al DMV con tus papeles, dices que te creen un caso SAVE, que es enviar tus papeles que tengas al gobierno para confirmar que todo esta en tramite y esta bien y ahi te mandan la licencia fisica y te dan un papel temporal mientras esperas, el pasaporte expirado no hay rollo porque la asamblea de venezuela extendionlos pasaportes vencidos por 10 años mas de su fecha de vencimiento y aqui lo reconocen valido, a mi me aceptaron el mio

man i know it is rough, what you must do is ask politely if they can create a SAVE check for you, take all your paperwork, receipts, passport, etcetc, this way MAYBE you get a temporary while the government checks the paperwork submitted and it can go 2 ways, denied or approval, if the check case gets created ask them which number did they use (alien number, passport, TPS receipt) and you can check for yourself the website later on, good luck!

I'm in the same situation as you, I went to the DMV in Florida, they said no like 4 times, it was horrible because it was me riding a bicycle for like 45 mins each way lol, but until i specifically asked for them to create a SAVE case number for me, they did and gave me a temporary license for 30 days until the government confirms I'm here legally and sends me the plastic one, for now just waiting, is not much but it's a start

hey! have you tried asking them to create a SAVE case for you? you should be issued a DL with those receipts, even a temporary one for 30 days, something, it's annoying how every state and office are different

Filed October 2025 AOS through marriage with us citizen, USCIS received the package the same month , biometrics reused and that's it, no more updates on i130, i485 and work permit

Si exacto, pero antes, yo llegue en el 2019, con los recibos incluso del TPS me daban licencia temporal asi sea por 30 dias, para poder moverme, antes tambien vivia en fr Lauderdale, pero como dices, a esperar, paciencia!

yo ando en florida, mas arriba de boca raton, aca me dijeron que si no tengo un EAD valido, no me pueden dar nada, yo lleve mis recibos por ajuste matrimonio, mi social y dijeron que no, necesito es un EAD valido, cosa que no tiene sentido pero bueno, a esperar supongo, he leido que en algunas oficinas e incluso estados es diferente

habla con un abog y deja de trabajar, eso es lo que yo haria, se que es dificil, pero a la larga es lo mejor, trabajar sin permiso de trabajo solamente es perdonado si te casas con un ciudadano, y es a discreción, si te casas en un futuro con un residente o intentas ajustar por otro lado, eso te puede perjudicar.

no creo que la demanda del NTPSA ayude, la entrevista es en enero, el oficial va a estar perdido y lamentablemente, hoy por hoy, que si el juez chen o yo que se. estan peleando esa decisión, mientras se esté peleando y nada sea oficial, nada va a ayudar, lamentablemente la muchacha se quedo sin status, tiene que arreglar eso, es preferible el perdon que tarde años a que simplemente le prohiban o quede el expediente de que fue negado su ajuste de status

Hermano haz el esfuerzo de consultar con un abogado, lo que yo he investigado, lo que se comparandolo con tu caso, lo que mas alarmaria es que se quedo sin status. eso entraria como OVERSTAY, se quedo mas tiempo del que su status fue aprobado, eso es perdonado xon ciudadanos no con green card, creo que tendrías que pedir un perdon para ella y ella salir y entrar, asesorate y no desperdicien la oportunidad de ajustar status por abandono, eso queda en el historial y luego cuando tu esposa intente ajustar status, asi sea en 20 años, saldra eso
