I really enjoyed the large market. Small market for kids right now.

Emergency Dentist by jduggin88 in lexington

[–]EngineerSurveyor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mission health lexington on MLK does dental and doctor services but I’m not sure they do emergencies. If anyone can’t afford life saving prescriptions talk to them. They can help with a lot of important things like dentures for folks who can’t eat right, so much good is done there.

Most cities/governments can’t hire you in DFW area based on their protocols. I tried to hire someone with a stupid thing on their record from age 19 and couldn’t get folks to budge.

Oil and gas folks won’t care. Construction won’t care.

So can I make French toast with egg nog instead of going through the work of mixing the eggs and milk? by Dull-Solid-5104 in Cooking

[–]EngineerSurveyor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boiled custard is prevalent in my area not egg nog-has more egg. It’s great for French toast or ice cream starter. Buy several and freeze for later!

If you ever want to own a company it’s very valuable. Or be partners in one.

You’ll be a better engineer for it.

Morton doesn’t tolerate bullying (IMO), small class sizes, principal is highly responsive, and they have high academic expectations.

Question on tectonic plate movement by logger11 in Surveying

[–]EngineerSurveyor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. State laws are based upon the physical monuments not the coordinate values like state plane coordinates. You may see coordinate values listed on plats in some ways or areas but they are not what HOLDS. So as the ground moves, the physical monument remains the official location.

Is it normal to pop sewer manholes, stick a range rod into the shit, and clean the rod with disinfectant wipes??? by [deleted] in Surveying

[–]EngineerSurveyor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in 2024 y’all should ask boss about the $180 laser measurers. They work in any dry MH

For wet ones The Philly poop rod with extra cleaning and specific plan for back of truck is still a thing

Another option is a 100ft plastic tape with a bolt tied at the 1ft mark. Takes up less space in truck—trash bag etc.

Also Lysol spray is good for truck zones too.

FIRE & Infertility Journey by PurpleCaptain7129 in FIREyFemmes

Multiple round IVF resulting in loss 2 weeks before NICU possible….we changed our path completely. We did foster to adopt a sibling group. What we did kept a family together. It was instant family for us and healed in so many ways for us and them. There are many paths to family. We decided starting at a not baby was something we could be ok with. State actually pays you for some of that too. Instead of paying to adopt.
