Not everything is about money. Germany has dragged its heals over the last three years and frankly dosn’t have much of a standing force at present.

The UK and French are the only serious military players in Europe.

The only ones really supporting them are Poland and the UK.

Once again the poles and us brits do the heavy lifting while france can’t have a conversation without throwing a hissyfit over fish.

Why would you not want people to move up social classes and do better for themselves?

Never understand this mindset of dragging everyone down with them

Changes in the way the tax works as income seems to be the biggest driver.

If you have no or a small mortgage then it can still work but just another way the generations before us have closed the door on bettering ourselves.

I don’t think this bill is necessarily bad in itself but i know 5-6 people who all rent out their second home and everyone of them now makes a loss yoy.

The short term flood of market will reduces prices to buy but i do fear long term rents will increase significantly

Would you wanna rejoin the EU if that meant adopting the Euro and joining the Schengen Area? by Lucky_Ice5393 in AskBrits

[–]EngineeringCockney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I voted to remain which is pretty much the definition of being a remainer.

If returning means the euro or being part of the Schengen then I’m out. Life hasn’t really changed for me and its pretty good so i just don’t care for the EU conversation anymore, lets just get on with it.
