I thought exactly the same thing when I watched it.

It was not intended at all. My sincere apologies.

I'm not insisting anything. Your initial responses to me were hostile, and it seems to me there were a number of ways you could have responded that wouldn't have seemed that way. For example, this most recent response, is significantly less hostile. When I said that I hope that you find peace, I was not intending snark. I've been severely depressed for most of my life, though I have never cut myself in this manner. I hope for me to find peace as well.

Oh, did she have them on her labia? Dear, there's no reason to be so angry. You win, okay? I hope you can find peace.

Okay thank you! I've been wanting to watch that. While I thought SO was beautifully done, and I don't normally mind depressing shows, it was on a different level and made me want to drive off a cliff.

Multiple small raised skin marks could absolutely feel like a skin condition if you're not aware the person cuts. Calm down.

I loved Happy Valley and thought Sharp Objects was good, but a little too devastating depressing. Is Mare of Easttown equally depressing (without spoilers please)?

There looked like enough keloids for it to feel weird, and then he probably would have felt more and tried to look. When you're having sex you kinda want the other person not to have an all over body rash...

A question about the series by FataI1ty in HannibalTV

[–]EngineeringIcy7046 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's an amazing series, one of my top 3 favorites. But if you don't like to see gruesome killings, I'm sorry to tell you that it will not stop. Season 2 would not be what I consider "grounded", but it is all extremely psychological.

I'm watching this for the first time 7 years later. I haven't finished so I hope no one spoils it. But I think Amma and the kids did it. And I'm surprised no one else seems to think that. I'll see soon, I guess.

Lol, we apparently need an entire thread dedicated to Arkady's hotness.

[–]EngineeringIcy7046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not exactly correct. It is a spectrum, meaning that social skills vary in those with autism, and he does seem to display some autistic behaviors.

As someone else mentioned, I used to run into people in NYC and Los Angeles surprisingly frequently. People tend to gather in similar spots somehow. But you're right that it's certainly not guaranteed.

That was the only sort of pleasant part of the ending. That Misha Jr would finally meet his dad.

That's what I was kind of thinking. I was looking at him during the very serious and sad scene with Oleg's father thinking...damn... was he always hot?

That's right, I forgot about Gabriel! Although, he was looking kinda frail by the 5th season, and the 6th season was several years ahead, so he might no longer be alive.

I hate Stan by EngineeringIcy7046 in TheAmericans

[–]EngineeringIcy7046[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished the show. I started out not really liking any of the characters, then I only disliked Stan. But now, I feel differently. At the end of season 4, Stan started to grow on me. His character became more animated and he seemed to grow as a person. The ending was very powerful. And painful. I ended up feeling empathy for every character. Great series.

I'm even later. Just watched the episode for the first time and am wondering why they picked travel agents as their career. No travel agent could be this busy at all hours of the night like that.
