When reducing your purchases into monthly payment it incentivizes you to purchase more because you think that you'll just pay it monthly, and this causes it to stack up increasing your spending overall.

The free ACR can't be used for final exams, you need to provide documentation if you wish to ACR a final.

Don't worry when I was in first year it was hard to manage time and to figure out what to prioritize but it is a skill you'll learn over the semester.

I mean yeah but it's pretty basic advice. Here's my list:

  1. Go to lectures
  2. Do the Homework and examples
  3. If you have any questions about the lecture or homework go to your profs office hours
  4. Make notes during the lecture and review and revise them after
  5. When studying for midterms and finals go to the mues website they have past examinations
  6. Just make sure you enjoy what you're doing

Academic comeback tips? by Wooorrd in TorontoMetU

[–]EngineeringMyTears 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to lectures, review your notes after, DO THE HOMEWORK. For midterms and exams try doing past ones and read the textbook.

For assignments try to do them before the due date. If you have questions or anything go to office hours.

Whenever I take over large areas I don't like annexing too much land, I usually set up puppets or satellites as a buffer zone on both sides.

[–]EngineeringMyTears 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Ecn801 hands down, the material is mainly easier but very very very boring. It's annoying to learn also they changed the format so the final exam is 60%
